Gutters.....when you get them repaired ask the chaps to put on additional support brackets. On plastic gutters the brackets should be every 20" or so.

Thanks Mo and jean for your cards. Just received them. And I didn't think I had any post today.
Weather OK out but overcast,so not very inspiring.
Dad will be kept in for observation over the weekend. They need to find out why his blood pressure plummets when he sits up and stands. It's fine when he lays down? Oh and did we know he has enphesyma(sp). Of course yes and asthma, caused by smoking(until 25 years ago) and his occupation as a painter and decorator. Rubbing down all that leaded paint and asbestos in artex and wood chip.
Think Mum will be with my sister again as nobody else can have her. Little point in her coming here as she wouldn't be able to go to hospital to see Dad or anyone else seeing her. It's about an hours drive. And as you all know I don't/ can't drive and no possible bus or train route.

Secondhand Limo....we could use that for our various outings.

The ladies usually get a Police escort home anyway....so we won't need the extras.

We navigate by the Stars so Sat Nav not required either.

Linda your Dad's symptons are the same as mine 20 years ago. I had that trouble they could not find out why.? I lay down and sat up stood up sat down again it was like being a jack in the box. I felt as if I was going to
black out . My friend went to the village to get some shopping for me.and I blacked out . went out like a light she came back and I was laying on the floor I had knocked all the pot plants of the window sill and the floor was covered in soil she let herself in to the bungalow with her key and phoned my Doctor he came at once and took some blood they found I had Under Active Thyroids. .I was put on tablets 150 mg after two weeks I began to feel better.I am down to 100 mg now.
His symptons are so like mine was.

My son has just left he has been here since 10.30 brought my Christmas present around a DVD player and DVD recorder digital. I had not had the other one that long.he left here at 2. o'clock.
That is three present I have had already.
I have not opened the other two will do that Christmas.

CHRISTMAS FAIRY NEEDED

Must enjoy having a tree stuck up her bum for the next few weeks.

Some parents struggle to come to terms with the idea that their children are not as young as they used to be.

A recent example was the story of a mother still breast feeding her 5-year old.

Rita thank you for passing on what happened to you. I do hope they sort him out as Mum will be getting very anxious again. She gets very panicy when he isn'e there for her.

You might remember I have an under active thyroid? My symptoms were very different, mainly the weight gain and not being able to loose it, dry skin, dry, thinning hair and feeling very cold. Oh and dropping to sleep in the chair after little exertion. Much the same as I feel now to be fair.

I am too.

I worried about this until a very respected specialist (ME) diagnosed that I was suffering from Reversed Anorexia Nervosa. ROFL

Seriously though it's amazing how this little gland, the Thyroid, can have such an effect on our metabolism.

Stephen that initiation sounds like fun and oddly enough I really do own a broomstick, (hanging on lounge wall) my Oh bought it for me, can't imagine what he was trying to tell me. Only problem is I'm scared of flying.
I'll have to catch the ferry, lol.

Its been a nice day, did walk the dog this morning but never got the dreaded housework done as OH decided we'd go into town -by bus- and have lunch and a drink. This just doesn't happen so the housework went out of the window. Had a lovely time although it felt strange as usually we have a houseful for saturday lunch.
