Good Morning All.

I hope everyone is well and warm.

Oh dear Stephen, what a dilemma. I am not going to try and offer advice, I think it is something very personal to you. You are right, it could swing both ways.

I too have found out something similar in my own family, although not quite so close. It is something I wonder about, but cannot bring myself to find out more, for fear it may ruin my opinion of said person. Very difficult. Maybe I will wait until someone tries to contact me.

HOWEVER, it is a dry, slightly warmer morning. The sky is clear. Weather forecast says the cold will return by the end of the week - what Joy.

Take care everyone, and keep well.

Morning folks,
Stephen only you can decide what to do for the best but give yourself a day or 2 to think about it all first and then make your decision.

Cold and crisp here this morning but at least its dry, going to get colder by the end of the week though. We had a lot less snow than rest of uk but it was enough to cause inconvenience and disruption. Can do without more!

Have a good day,

Cath xx

Foggy here and looks a bit frosty too.
Like Maddie I won't offer advice on your dilema Stephen, very hard thinking time for you. Try not to let it worry you while at work.

All ready for Little to come for the next three days.

PS Hope the cold is easing Rita. Have a good day everyone

Just a quick one to say hello to all. I am not too good this morning I dont know whether it is flu or just a virus? . so I am taking things easy and just answered my emails. but thought I would let you know why I am not on the thread.
I did read a little and Stephen about your half sister. whether too or not ? all I can say is put yourself in her position and you have your answer..

Morning all.

I guess I'm different..... I would meet her Stephen..... WHY ....because life is too short.
At her age !! its not as though you'll have much longer left with her .
Go on and bring a bit of Christmas festive time with her ....

Hows everyone out there ?????

Rita ....hows you today ? you had better get yourself back to normal its not like you to be poorly and down. I'll make you a nice cuppa (_)?. Cake @.
Oh by the way Rita I did get that Doggy bit !!! once I looked at my sent mail ..LOL

I feel FREE today ........nothing to do and nobody to cook for , so I'm going to take things slowly, but I have to pop to the hospital for a check up as usual.
think I might look around the shops while I'm out.....must keep my purse Zipped up ..LOL

The sun is shinning here and if you didn't know it was winter it would fool anyone into thinking it was summer . See the sun does follow me around !!

Off for me bath.....

Hi everyone

Rita, I was going to say the same thing to Stephen, put himself in her place so he can see it from both sides.

Stephen, remember that whatever went on between your dad and her mam, it had nothing to do with her, it wasn't her fault, she was just the innocent baby that was born.

Edit: If it was me, my curiosity would get the better of me, I'd have to meet her.

Hi everyone.
Stephen, I can only agree with all who have said she was the innocent in all this.
But if she knew of you years ago, why has she not contacted you before now. You were the one in the dark. And life as YOU know, is very short.
Enough said, I will shut my trap now.

Rita, if you are still feeling poorly tomorrow, please ring your doctor.
You don't want to be poorly over the Christmas period.

Stephen - life is not rehearsed. Go for it!

It's better to have regrets, if any, after the meeting than a lifetime of wondering what would have happened.

Well i'm darned, look peeps it's our Shelly. Hi there Dame how's you.
There was one thing I had forgotten to buy, and that was my Christmas Crackers, so I had to get them today. Everything else is bought apart from fresh veggies and fruit. Oh and sausage meat, but that I will buy from the butchers on Christmas eve.
We have to have the crackers, or the grandchildren will moan.

I am at darts tonight so you won't be hearing from me till tomorrow. Wish me luck folks. Luv Mo

Thanks folks.........good to see your postings on my wee dilemma.

Gonna chew it over.....not for too long though.

Here's me thinking all my brothers and sisters had gone......when dad left a wee surprise for me.....ROFL

Gotta smile as well.......my dad was a good looking chap......he came from farming stock but the land the family owned was rich in coal......so my dad was a Mine Manager. The family owned mines up until the 1930s.

Dad obviously had farming in his blood and was sowing his wild oats eh !

Gonna have my tea just now....she who must be obeyed has called me to the table.

Hi Everyone.

Hospital all OK. Going to live it up a bit now ..LOL

Wow I have just been greedy ......I'm having left overs of my trifle from last night with cream that is forbidden......but nobody was watching..LOL

Pat ......I had Turkey & Chips & Pickle & Tomatoes ....now how lazy is that ?

We have just left my friends house and Pete was trying to get their grandson a insurance on line for his car, my goodness there are so many quotes all different prices but a vast amount of differences ....you would never believe .
But he got a good deal in the end....well as good as expected for an 18year old Soldier back from Afghanistan, so he's a very happy Soldier now he can drive away in his car , for the first time ... Pete gave him some sound advice on driving and told him he will probably get stopped in his first week !! cause he's young and a prime candidate for being stopped for drink driving as he does DRINK !!!!!!!

So god help him I hope he copes with his new toy.....that grandma bought him.

Mo enjoy your darts.......its getting colder out there so wrap up warm.

Hows our Rita tonight ???

Shelly Is that tree of yours all decorated now . any baubles on the floor for Olly to kick around ..LOL

Stephen......My goodness I have just watched the forecast in Scotland how are you managing ?

Evening to you all and a chilly one it is, just back from walking the dog and glad OH has to do the 'bedtime walk'.
Dermot it ceases to amaze me the speed some people drive at. I think when younger most of us probably broke a speed limit at some time but more modern cars are capable of reaching horrendous speeds now. I learnt to drive in an ancient Triumph Dolomite and was lucky if it reached the maximum speed limit on the island which is 35mph.
