Good evening all.
It sounds like you are all feeling like me, cheesed orft with this weather again.

Stephen can you keep the snow up there Purleezz. Every time you go out to clear the paths, you are sweeping it down this way.
Your broomstick should be used for good purposes, like bringing joy and laughter. It's about time we had a bit of FUN. When are we having the sleigh ride you promised.
One miserable fed up Mo xxx

We are generally a quiet if not a silent people. We usually take things as they come - football violence, Network Rail, potholes, poverty, X-Factor and the occasional bout of prosperity followed by recessions & the wrong kind of snow.

We've not had a real revolution for a while.

Hello Mommy and Shelly,
I really love the summer although I have the wrong complexion for sunbathing, pale skin and what used to be red hair but alas is now white!!
I just slap on lots of factor 40, a sun hat and enjoy it anyway. Always manage to get up early in the summer even on holiday, but at the moment I just peep out from under the duvet and if its still dark stay put a while longer.

Yes Stephen I am Ok. I had the old fellow call on me for the flat above, he said I have done our washing (his wife and his )today instead of tomorow.
He told me to leave my bag out and I will take it into the laundry room to morrow and do it for you. I told him it was alright not to worry he said put it outside your door or I will ring. he also told he has to go to the post office tomorrow so if you need a newspaper or letters posted let me know I will do it for you.88 he is running around like and 38 years old.
I rember people were like this during the war, our street doors were never locked.
My friend across in the other flats always rings when she is going out to ask if I need anything ? she is a lot younger than I am and has not been here that long.
Our Estate manager is home her flights were cancelled to Poland so she said she is having her money back and going at easter instead.
I got a shock when she said I have to go to waitrose to get some shopping as I have nothing in I would not do this normally but in this case I will get anything for you that you need. Ted said Rita is alright people around wil help her if she needs anything.it made me smile
I still have a terrible cough it keeps me awake at night.

Hi girls and Dermot. Up the Revolution Dermot. (Smithy from Citizen Smith) LOL

Cath, I don't seem to able to lie in bed of a morning anymore. It was different when I was at work, I looked forwards to my lazy days at home.
But when you retire, one day seems to blend into the next.
I like the warm weather Cath, but tend to stay in the shade when it's to hot.
I used to work out in the fields many years ago, and loved being outside, but having got burnt on many occasions, I covered myself as much as possible. These were the days, when factor 40's etc were never really used, we were so ignorant of the dangers.
I just thank god that I have never suffered any after affects.
