Im a proper misery tonight aren't I.Will have to go to bed early and wake up refreshed and raring to go tomorrow.

I am starting to feel Christmassy at last. Grandchildren were singing carols this afternoon and then watched a Christmas film. They always make me smile, bless them.
Going to get my hot water bottle, hot toddy and curl up by fire.

Do you have Insurance that would cover the damage to the Boiler ?

Worth checking that out....it's surprising what gets covered without us realising it.

I have just fitted a new dishwasher compliments of the Insurers. And it was quite old.

oh Cath feel sorry for you with no heating, we had that a few years ago over new year, the central heating pump went and needed a new part so had a week without hot water and heat, a nieghbour lent us an electric fire and we bought one aswell so one in the living room and the other in my son's room, he was only a baby then

Well managed Tesco this morning. So we have what we've got and what we haven't we'll have to go without.
Hubby should be at work tomorrow Late shift so hoping it thaws a bit and doesn't freeze over. It was dripping earlier but not holding my breath.

Now have FIL coming christmas night, eldest says she pick him up Christmas Day evening a\nd bring him here Though I will be out til hubby finishes work. Then he will be her Boxing Day and taken home next morning. Not my idea but if they want to risk driving him around while hubby works their choice.

Just means I have to try to sort out a second spare bedroom. Not easy with all the rubbish I have!!

Enjoy your evening Think I'd like to join you on the sleigh ride. I have the thermals I bought for our weekend in Bath.

We had snow on Saturday but no more yet but it's very cold, was hoping to go to my sisters on Thursday but i think i'll call her and cancel and go after Christmas. Don't fancy the M25 in this weather!

Yvonne the M25 has been a nightmare lately. It would probably be o.k if you were staying for Christmas with your sister, but it's snowing very hard here again at the moment.

There's not been any news yet. And I don't know if anyone has got a phone number for her at her son's house.
It's such a worry for them all,at this time of year, well at any time really.

Hope everyone is well and warm. I see we haven't heard from Marilyn yet. I hope everything is OK.

Pauline has sent me my Santa Suit, so I am set up for the Sleigh Ride. I will wear a pair of red woolly tights, so me bum dont get cold.

What time will I be picked up, or do I have to keep myself on standby? I'm not standing on street corners again, last time I was taken for a lollipop lady. lol

I see Mo and Shelly have been snowed in again. Ours has settled and frozen, so I slipped and slid me way to work. Such a joy.

This is gonna be short, I gotta be up early again tomorrow.

Hi jean

put the horse out in the field today for a couple of hours, she has a rug on so she's all cosy, they do find the grass by pushing the snow around but the snow gets iced up on thier feet and they can slip over if they run around. she shares the field with other horses, they prefer to have company

Maddie you shouldn't stand on street corners someone might think you're something more than a lollipop lady!!!! lol
