Talking about 'designer stubble' - old saying advised: do not shave on a Sunday & you will never have toothache.

Not sure if this applied to men too.

My son has a designer stubble on a weekend but he just looks dirty.

Pauline Hubby has the full winter growth now. He says it keeps his face several degrees warmer when he is working outside. Who am I to disagree as I wouldn't even want to be outside in this weather.
But he does look like Father Christmas the older he gets !!! LOL

Mind when he shaves it off in the spring he suddenly looks younger.

Have a good evening all

I never shave (my armpits or legs) on a Sunday.

I haven't needed to shave my legs since my thyroid became under-active. Thankfully it didn't have any effect on the hair on my head.

Stephen, I've given you very light blue eyes and a dark tan. I've sent it to you.

WOW !

Pauline you are a magician.

Sending you one of the wife in her swimsuit. (Beached Whale)

Please transform her.

Slim curvy figure,
firm bust,
no wrinkles (anywhere)
Stretch marks removed.
The full works.

On second thoughts I'll keep the one I have. She has stood the test of time. Looks as young as ever to me. And I could never love a substitute the way I do her.

Had a good day with the Family again. The Santa visit was magic. We were on a Canal Barge but she could not move due to the Ice. They had organised a pile of activities in the adjacent Visitors Centre.

I have never had to shave my legs strange ? as my hair has always been black and I have fair skin and blue eyes

Stephen I got a bit worried when i read you request to pauline
"could you please maybe play around with me " I got all hot under the collar
I was going to log off Lo.

Yes pauline I had blue carnations and they were flown over from Jersey and little white flowers, I cannot recall their name but most brides carried those.

I am waiting for the Strickely come dancing finals to come on..
It should be a good night.

Hello to Pat and Catherine.

Shelly the churchs do shut on a sunday if they have a good reason too ? .many shut during the week as well because of the pilfering that goes on in them and destruction.

To think when I was a child no church had the doors shut you could walk in anytime. These days many churches have been sold off

I thought the end of the end was 2012. ie 20.12.2012 That's what it said in a Dan Brown novel!.

Rita were the flowers Gypsophillia or babys breath as they are sometimes known?

What on earth are you doing with the photos Pauline? All sounds pretty dodgy to me.

Pauline how long have you had an under active thyroid? As I have lost hair on my upper arms over about the last 5 years, my eyebrows too, underarms almost and lower legs. But the most dramatic is my hair on my head. Over a few years now if I had taken real notice. But now diagnosed as alopecia and I got my wig nearly a year ago. It has given me back some confidence, but really made my hubby happier as he thought it worried me, bless him. I have had an under active thyroid for over 20 years now.

Enjoy your evening and lets hope everyone stays safe and warm

Oh dear, sorry Mommy, no offence meant.

I could have been an Essex gel meself, if my Mum had agreed to move to Basildon when I was a kid. But, she wouldnt go. lol

We now have a frost coming down to make the snow even more icy. What a joy.

We were going to the Crem. today, but the snow put paid to that. It would have been Mums' birthday on Monday. But will try and get there next week sometime. Just as long as it is before Christmas, it will be fine.

Gonna do precisely nothing tonight. I got frozen stiff this morning.

See ya later.

Maddie no offence was taken love, just pulling your leg. lol

It was the anniversary of my mum's passing on the 12th of december, and it will be mum in laws on the 27th.
We tend not to go to the crem very often these days, just have flowers at home for them by their photo's, as they were always comfortable in our home.

Stay warm and safe everyone.

Is there any room on this thread for a heated debate?

Possible topic - 'male couple turned away from a Cornish hotel by the Christian owners'. (DM 18.12.10).

I'm going to bed now.
The same hotel you were talking about Dermot only allows married couples as well.
