Kim, you are certainly having some rough weather! I hope everything doesn't get washed out in tomorrow's celebrations. Are those 2 lovely cats yours in your pic? What are their names and how is the one that was poorly now?

William, my OH always had cats in the past and says it is an awful feeling and worry when they don't come home.

That's good news Jane........she must be so glad to be home. :-D I bet she wishes she was in a bungalow right now with no stairs!!! Still she has a very willing helper!! :-D I suppose she will have to be careful not to overdo it now and make the swelling worse again. Mind you it must be very painful to do anything at this early stage. Very best wishes to her.

Have sent you a PM Mandy.

That's good news about your sister Jane, i bet she's glad to be home at last , she'll have to be careful with the dogs that they don't trip her up .

When i'am in the kitchen at the sink Toby will lay right behind me,and the times i've nearly gone flying :-S :-S :-S

Jane Report 25 Jan 2012 20:51

I think Janice sounded totally wiped out :-She did find it very painful and difficult to get back home and up the stairs to bed.She was dosed up with the Ora morph (morphine)before she left hospital.Larry her OH is doing her injections in her tummy(the blood thinning one) :-S :-S
I'm sure she will enjoy being back in her own bed tonight even if Larry has to move out to the spare one.Riley (one of her dogs ) has spent the last couple of hours just snuggled up with her.

Jane I'm glad to read that Janice is home. it's good to be back in your own place.

Its wild and VERY wet outside tonight, What makes it worse is that we have had no street lights for the last 3 nights and it is so black, the cars are having to crawl down our street instead of the normal speed.

Builders are very behind with there present work so won't be back here till Monday now, :-( :-|

I am going for a bath now so will say goodnight.

Morning Denise,

Weather has eased here a little. Rain stopped about mid morning and a watery sun has been trying to break through the cloud cover. It is very humid tonight. Some of the celebrations went ahead which was good for the families, but definitely no fireworks for the local areas tonight.

Jane great news that Janice is now home. The surroundings and comfort of her own bed will hopefully speed up the healing process. I wish her well.

Ann, yes those are my two girls Kiara (the light coloured one) and Bess. Kiara is the one I worry about. Doesn't eat much, very skinny and looks unwell, but the vet never comes up with anything. Bess is a garbage guts and eats whatever is in sight!!! She likes to be with me on the couch and snores :-S

Thoughts are with you today Frank. I miss my pets who are now gone, all an important part of my life and history.

Fiona hopefully those workers will get back to the job and finish it next week. How is your tummy these days? Do you think the op. has helped?

Hi to everyone else. Will try to get back later Cheers for now. 8.58 pm DST

Hi Everyone,
Dull here and I woke up to a cold & frosty morning,

Kim , my tummy these days is fine, can eat almost everything, occasionally have a bit of indigestion but thats ok, nothing like it was before the op. so glad I had it done, and I am now steadly putting the weight back on.( 6st 9lbs at the moment) 5lbs to go till 7st( I feel comfortable then) I will then have to watch my diet and my colestral. (sp)

Felling much better this morning, going into town with daughter no 2 & boyfriend for coffee(tea for me) and then I have an an appointment at the dentist. I will be glad when this treatment is over it's not been painfull but uncomfortable.

Yes I will be glad to see the back porch finished, have to do a bit of cleaning up and a lick of white paint to freshen up the walls before OH can put in the sink and cupboards, We still haven't seen any cupboards we like yet or floor tiles. yet
We have the sink and tap and blinds so we have made a start.

Well I better get ready to go out, hope everyone has a good day

Fiona all will soon be straight then. It will be a good job done when it is finished. Hope everything goes well at the dentist.

Frank how are you this morning.
I know how hard a time you are having at the mo as I feel just like that when I feed the bantams in the mornings. I still look for Henny Penny to say good morning as I used to. All the bantams sit in the sun, when it shines, just where oh buried her so she is still with them.

I do feel for you Frank, keep imagining how I would be if it were one of mine. It will get easier though, what is it they say, time heals most things.

I'm the same Pat, haven't got much done. I normally have a plan for the day but haven't today, maybe that's why. ' Fa*t a*sing about' my dad would have said.

Sounds like you should give up on those fish. I had a pond once, kept putting fish food in, wasn't until we cleaned it out we realised there were no fish in there, bloomin' heron had eaten the lot. Had tropical fish for a while as well, too much of a palaver though.

I'm going to see if I can send some Christmas photos on.

Oh dear!!!! I thought my dentist appointments were over for a while this week but no I was told I have another two to go before I'm finished :-S :-( .
