Does anyone know what the plant is called.....

It's a huge 'grass', I know what much. Big thick hardy sword like leaves, varigated....and it's about 5ft and in my garden????

It's a bit like a massive 'spider' plant with thicker, bigger leaves

No it's a plant put in by the landscaper....Ive seen them all over the shot

I did a bit on my tree yesterday...and bunged loads of people who may or may not be my ancestors in lol
I hate pre census how can you tell if they are yours or not just because they have the correct name and live in the same villiage?

Thats what I was doing Gins... Common name John Bishop but luckerley there did'nt seem to be loads of them just the one in the villiage for each generation so they will do.

I can't see the point in having them if I dont know what they did...but then I expect they were just ag labs anyway

wonder what sort of government we'll have by tonight?


Hopefully NOT a Conservative majority. I dread to think what state the country will be in if that hapens. It's bad enoungh after several years of Conservative minority governments!

OH is going to the Ilsand on Wednesday until Friday, for a meeting. They're paying his fare on the ferry, and hotel room for 2 nights.


I was going to go, and visit with our friends over there ... lunch with one, dinner with others.




Honestly, don't think I'm going to be able to make it

Your plant does look much better now but I can't see it recovering !!

Best thing you can do is to dig it up and chuck it down the tip !!
