Thank you Vivianne I was wondering if comments had been made and then deleted or there was some other reason for my not being able to see them.
Sadly there are people who though they may be good researchers appear to have personality proble...ms. I have had problems with these two before and have taken steps to prevent their behaviour. I actually thought in light of my present problems they may have had the decency to leave me alone but clearly their problems are worse than I thought.

I like this page and I like the people on it they are genuine kind well adjusted and friendly. So will continue to post here but I prefer these two to leave me alone thank youSee more

Its FB I was trying to help dally and giving her info from some trees at ancestry but both sylv and I suggested she subscribed or took out free trial.
Its a long story but she has somehow removed sylvs posts making it look like I am imaging things ...but it does'nt matter now she has blocked us both...there is also some story that she had two major deaths on tuesday but it did'nt stop her posting on the GR page when I was waiting for a reply on ancestry page

She's over there posting away quite happily on anything and everything! I do find some of her comments rather patronising I must admit - ain't losing any sleep though!

Incredible story going on over here.


7 weeks ago, a couple left BC to drive to Las Vegas.

They didn't return home 10 days later as planned, Searches showed the last sighting was in a convenience store in Oregon the day after theyleft Canada



YESTERDAY the woman was found alive, near their van which was stuck in mud on a remote logging road in Nevada.

They got stuck the same day that they ahd last been seen in the store. The husband waited a couple of days, then left to walk out to get help.



She has survived for 7 weeks by eating only some trail mix they ahd i the van and drinking water made by melting snow. She ahs seemingly lost 20 to 30 lbs, but otherwise is not in too bad a shape.


Authorities are now looking for the husband.

2 May 06:08 was followed by 3 May at 00:54 , then by 2 May at 15:02 am, 2 May at 00:23, 3 May at 01:00, 2 May at 23:16 ..... and on and on like that

I can't see anybody's avatars because I hate the gawdawful things on principle. But I shall zip over to .co.nz or something where I haven't blocked them and take a peek.

This facebook biz. To avoid this blocking nonsense, use my trick.

Get a spare fb account. To avoid confusion, it's best to have an identical gmail account for each fb account. For instance, I have both a Janey and a Canuckity gmail account (and another everybody has guessed, heheh). Then you have mail from that gmail account forwarded to whatever account you normally use so you never have to bother with the actual account at gmail.

Now open the fb account. You're not going to use it for anything so don't worry what it's called, just match it more or less to whatever gmail account you managed to get. If you got miss.jane.tiggywinkle, be jane tiggywinkle at fb.

Now open a browser you don't normally use, and sign in to that fb account. You can be signed in to one fb account in one browser and another fb account in another. Go to the GR fb page.

Then, whenever you think you're not seeing something at the GR page because your "real" fb account has been blocked, use the spare fb account to read the GR page and see what it was.

Then you can use your "real" fb account to reply to it if you like -- and even quote it when you do, just to make things clear.

It might show the morons how pointless this bit of authoritarian behaviour is, but even if not, you still get to see what's what.

Not at all as complicated as it might sound, and worth doing just out of spite. ;)

... So I've been flicking through admiring the avatars. They really are all quite lovely, aren't they? I'll have to do that periodically, just convert a thread to another url and take a look. I'm afraid people will get bored with mine quite quickly though -- overexposure!
