:-D :-D

I bet you did'nt come back with a tan then?

My ex was always going away on little trips abroad as a travel agent and I was supposed to trust him....huh

I went away with a friend for two weeks to Lanzarote with her 2 year old son and although I was as good as gold he never believed me

Certainly didnt get a tan...It was middle of Jan and bleedin freezing with no heating in the hotel.....Plus HE was from there and it was his first trip back in nearly 20 years and so he had to keep visiting family..I met most of them except the ones who would tell his Mrs

In the bar every evening this couple kept asking how long we had been married so I got fed up and turned round and told them,Im not married but he has been married 22 years... :-D

Then we bumped into the couple that lived over the road from me............Oooooooops....But they did keep shtum when we got home...........phew...

Moving on.......

don't know why I bother but....some of Somerset marriages are on their online parish clerk site.

The nearest one I could find was the following but it's probably too early.

St. Andrew, Old Cleeve Parsons Thomas Daubeney Sarah 24 Mar 1821

Thank you for trying Dea and MrsCx....But yep...Far too early I would say for someone born C1814 and I would have thought it would be in Wells or Crayford Sussex maybe....

Will send for child Ann Maunderells birth when finances allow.....

Had rather an Eeeeeekspensive time the last few weeks...

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 5 Jun 2011 17:06

There was nothing for either Maundrell or variations of the same.

Jax,

Are you up for a bit of an experiment.

As you know a picture of your dog (Your GR avatar) appears in an advert for GR in Ginny's latest thread on FB. I know that your avatar on FB is that of, shall we say a messy eater :-D

Would you change your GR avatar temporarily to something other than your dog to see whether the picture in GR's advert changes to whatever your GR avatar becomes.

Er....LK ??? Lost for words?

Jax....I was just saying that Crayford is in Kent not Sussex for Fan's benefit.

I've had another look for a Parsons/Atkinson marriagein Somerset but had no luck so far - not all registers are transcribed yet....soz.

Is this going to post or not???
