They go back on Wednesday Dea.....and I have them Wednesday afternoon. Now that they are older they are no bother at all which makes life easier. Soon, they won't be needing me to pick them up I guess....sigh.

My boys went to an after schoold club, open until 6pm which was a god send for me, although quite expensive at the time

They were fab with the boys and I never worried about them as the club was part of the school....

OK...orf to bed as I am being ignored.....

LOL fanny, hi all hope you had a nice night. Persie breakfast sounds yumn although I don't know if I could Spanakopita for breakfast!

There is a great Turkish restaurant where we go, they make a really nice one. The place is only little but spotless and the kitchen is open in the middle so you can see them cooking your meal. Getting cravings now! :-)

Very quiet in here.... they must still be asleep... okay who is snoring?

Mini muesli boxes w berry compote and yoghurt
Mini croissant with a selection of conserves and cream

Large croissant stuffed with ham, brie and mustard aioli
Spicy chorizo sausages wrapped in bacon
Mini bagel filled w salmon, pesto & cream cheese
Herbed sausage rolls
Sweet corn cake topped w crispy bacon
Smoked ham, roast tomato and feta tart
Cocktail bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon
Breakfast quiche with bacon, tomato and choriz0
English muffin stuffed with streaky bacon and scrambled egg
Eggs Benedict with crisp bacon, spinach or salmon
Old fashioned bacon and egg slice

Tangy parmesan cheese scones
Mini croissants w a selection of gourmet fillings (vegan)
Pumpkin and courgette frittata w tomato relish
Spinach, mushroom and roast tomato filo basket
Vege pie w tomato relish
Sweetcorn and courgette fritters
Mushroom Mini Quiches
Thick slices of Tomato & Zucchini loaf

Proper coffee: Cappuccinos, Flat whites, Lattes, mochachinos, Long blacks, Espressos or short blacks all available.

Tea and Hot chocolate, with marshmallows and or mini chocolate fish.

Sweetcorn and courgette fritters, tomato relish and English muffin...oh boy Pers, you know how to put on a spread

Ohhhh Persie !! - I cannot cope with all this WONDERFUL food .

My VERY BIG plate is not 'very big enough' !!! - I will have to come back for seconds ;-)

I am going to start with:

Gracie's country has wild camels..... LOL betcha they don't eat them but they do eat kangaroo meat.

They are only finger food Dea so you can pile your plate up high.

When is Sylvia back..... my last breakfast will be Friday... then I am away to Wellington on the train? I will send you a postcard... LOL.

Hello wall....again!

Cor.....quiet or what?????


I was out all morning and early afternoon and then had to catch up with my ironing.

I've also been trying to neaten up my tree on Ancestry. I sometimes struggle over there - maybe that's why I feel for beginners on this site......lol


Tomorrow is manic....out most of the time except for meals.........this is retirement for you!

Hope Renes is having a lovely but probably very emotional time with her sister.

Hope the rest are okay......and yes, Sylvs should be back soon I think.
