'cos he's daft!

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 8 Sep 2011 06:16

actually,

we knew the Garden, both the garden itself and the office buildings, was safe. The fire fighters deluged the fire with water from above, so all the flames and smouldering was down at the bottom of the cliff.

and he needed to get to his office there ...... and also to see if the director needed any help.

I liked your first answer Sylv!!!

and I guess "down to the Garden" was a slightly wrong phrase.

You do walk slightly downhill from the main part to the Garden, but I guess "across campus" would be a better description.

Shouldn't be too busy today - waiting for the gas man to do the annual service on the boiler.

How about changing your avatar for Bob the Builder Fans??? :-D

Boiler okay which is good. We have a contract with BG which is supposed to cover plumbing too - it covers very little in all honesty. We want a pipe from the bathroom checking outside and that isn't covered. We would have to pay for it.

Basically, they pass you onto Dynawotsit and theyjust clear blockages! We ain't blocked and am wondering if the contract is worth keeping. :(

You can get insured for anything now.....why not just put the £16 or whatever you pay per month away in case you have problems

We dont want you going out this winter banging away at your boiler Cyns :-D

Gee Report 8 Sep 2011 20:26

Well Sylv, you will need to ask your clinical expert....I cant imagine flavoured tea would be banned

Chinese meds do have some things that are a little....obstructive to conventional meds

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 8 Sep 2011 20:26

Could be Sylvs.....why not check?

Shouldn't have any probs with my boiler this year - we paid to have a heater thing fitted in January. There will be BIG trouble if my pipes freeze, believe me!!

Gee

Gee Report 8 Sep 2011 20:31
