True Dea! Have to set the alarm clock that bit earlier.

Suddenly remembered about beards Jonesey. My OH grew one the first year we were married.....he look like King George the wotsit. After I discovered porridge in it one morning it was for the chop never to reappear!

I actually kissed a man with a beard yesterday (my OH was right beside me at the time in case you are wondering). It was bit like kissing a thistle!

:-D

Cyn,

"It was bit like kissing a thistle!"

Are you an experienced thistle kisser then?

I always thought that a bearded man was inclined to tickle a lady's fancy.

Supposed to be sorting out kitchen waste pipe into main drainage instead of soakaway ,utility floor and some other bits and pieces like new handbasin taps...

Been missing for 4 days now.

Phone call to his OH should sort that prob. :-P

My builder is a retired friend of my MIL's. He asked his friend who is a plumber to have a look at the pipework. Plumber dropped in today to remove a sink so builder can get behind to do some plastering. He is going to remove saniflow and put in a proper sewerage system tomorrow. It turns out plumber used to do work on FIL's hotel and his mate used to be a chef in the hotel too but retrained as a plumber. OH has been in his element catching up.

K turned up late, but at least he came.

Decided that the job of plumbing kitchen sink waste to main is a BIG job as all old lead pipes that are concreted in under floor will need digging out...Scratch that one..I will spend money on summat else(tumble drier/gas fire and lots of other needs) and make soakaway a lot bigger...Only kitchen sink goes in it anyway and if it rains a lot we can use the other one in utility room that is plumbed into main drain.

Paid him what was owing and we all had a good chinwag and set the world to rights.....and wrongs ..... :-D

Gins

In Vancouver and many other places over here, you cannot smoke within 30' of any doors, windows or air intakes.

I'm glad I quit smoking over 20 years ago!

THANK YOU SO MUCH SYLVIA !!!!!

I need that 'little extra' today !! - Still trying to sort out brother' things!! - It appears that what little he had has disappeared from his bank account !!

Most of it was Pension overpayment which I have just paid back but it it not really the money - it is more that I can't trust people who have access !!

I wanted to be fair to his friends and send them any moneys which came to me but now I don't know what to do because it appears that they 'may' have been taking advantage of him !!
