I remember reading the Hobbit at school and enjoying it. Then going to see LOTR as a cartoon with ex over 30 years ago...and the pair of us walked out confused, not sure if the kids that were in there understood it |

Not sure about reading the Lord of the Flies....but we were taken to the cinema one afternoon from school to see it.as the video had not been invented nor big screen tv,s....we had it hard :-D The film was in black and white...good film though, did'nt they want to eat the rather large kid? |

I love both The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. The adventures of Bilbo Baggins and Frodo. Their encounters with Gollum and Gandolf. The films were good but they are not a scratch on the book. Looking forward to The Hobbit film being released. Brilliant stuff |
