She'll have been in a world of her own......Welsh lala land, bless her.

She won't see this either cos she'll still be in bed and then tell us she was worn out with working hard yesterday ...... :-D

There had better be a lot of posts between now and when she wakes up though!

Mornin all,

Cyn, I am the master in my own house. I don't need to stand outside to smoke a ciggie. I can smoke anywhere I please within my house as long as it is in the little room at the back (overlooking the bins) that nobody, not even the dog, ever comes near.

Did you not have the 'Friday gang' around last night Ginns??

Have they deserted you or are they just giving you a break while you are working so hard?

It looks like we might be having company tonight....on their way back from the match!

Still, they are taking me out to an award winning bistro next Saturday to thank me for all the hospitality....there is no need but I didnt want to offend by saying no ;-)

Before they 'sealed' the big tubes of smarties and such at Christmas, I used to open them all and nick about three from each....there were five of us, so had a feast

One year dad noticed but he gave me a big smile when I said it wasnt me!

Cant do that anymore....they are all sealed :(

Dea

Dea Report 17 Sep 2011 19:03

I could try the 'middle up' thingy Ginns I suppose!

Talking about your dad reminded me of mine - he was a very simple man - I don't mean 'simple' stupid but 'simple' as in not very wordly.

Come Christmas time - he would get very excited and would often say to me things like "don't tell your mother I told you, but we have got you a ....... for Christmas"

He also used to tell me where he had hidden things and I would go and find them , undo them VERY carefully, see what they were and then re-wrap them so they could give them to me as a surprise !!

I know you miss 'your' dad and I miss mine too sometimes!

When did that Fans creep in then???? Huh!

Had a nice time at Dunn Elm Mill........if I had the money, I could spend a fortune there.

Dinosaur cake? I love novelty cakes but always feel it's a shame to cut into them. I had an orang utan cake for my 50th :-D
