Any of you got one of those mattress covers which mould to your body - tempur??? I saw them today and was tempted to get one but don't want to spend the money if they aren't worth it.

:-D

I've not seen Tempur mattress covers ....... what we get over here are Tempur mattresses, for some horribly high price.

I don't know anyone who has one though.

I am thinking of getting a mattress topper as my bed is quite hard.

I have heard they are good but can make you too warm in the night so ditch the wyncette and go for the baby doll nightie :-D

Cyn,

Check out this site:

I bought a couple of their mattresses in 2008 and have been very pleased with them.

Think I might order the topper at £140 but does that mean I will need flat sheets as fitted wont be any good will they?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 17 Sep 2011 21:21

Dunno ja...x, I only use flat sheets anyway.......but I can understand that fitted sheets are easier for you.

Ask Jonesey - he knows these things!

Hmmm.....crater eh Fans? I would only leave a ripple of shapeliness. :-P

Jax,

Unless your existing mattress is particularly thick I don't think that you should have a problem using your existing fitted sheets. That is what we use. Also don't forget you can get 20% discount of the prices shown on the website. The chap who owns the company is called Mark.

For those interested I, like, Jax sleep Au Naturelle I find that my skin fits me better than jimjams and as Cyn says it cuts down on the laundry ;-)

jax

jax Report 17 Sep 2011 21:38

It is quite a thick and heavy mattress, the sheets I have at the moment are pretty tight...oh well suppose some new ones wont hurt.

I shall give them a call ..I have been waiting for a recommendation before I bought..thanks Jonesey

On the way to the loo.....

Your mattress should suit you....I like very firm as I broke my back years ago and need one....the foam you talk about is ace...I have a hard mattress with a mix of both

Ace....snuggles you but also holds you firm

Gee

Gee Report 17 Sep 2011 21:53

And....always change your mattress every five or so years

How long have you had yours?

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 17 Sep 2011 21:57

5years....Wanna buy me a new mattress Ginny??
The one I want next is £499.00
No???
Oh well,I will just turn it over again and buy a new cover for it instead then...

SylviaInCanada Report 17 Sep 2011 21:59

I had OH bring up the box containing my lighter weight winter tops, and I'm switching them for most of my summer tops. It has turned much cooler, and damper!, and I suddenly thought last night that I might have some arm movement problems after Tuesday.

So, rather than having to ask him to do the changeover, I'm doing it a little early.
