Well guess you can have a large morning tea...

I am off to bed. An hour has disappeared out of my life and will have to wait ages to get it back again. ;-)

hello everyone, hope you have had a nice weekend.

Had a nice quiet one, the football team I follow has made it into the Grand Final (huge event if you are in Melbourne)!, then went for a tour at an open day of a new emergency call taking facility, very swish and then polished the afternoon off by ordering a new dresser so I can finally display the china I have collected over the years, and a bookshelf.

Glad Sylvia is on the mend and Persie the breakfasts sound really nice. :-)

Hello Gracie!

Isn't this the wrong time of day for you to be on here, or am I getting confused again? :-D

VERY nice to see you anyway!

How is your 'little one' ?

Its my paternal grandads birthday today....He would have been 109 if he was still alive..
Still miss him,he was a cuddly loving, listening grandad with all the patience in the world for his granddaughter(meee).. :-D

Must have been a patient man indeed!

The grandad I remember best would have been 135 in November. He was 70 when I was born and he lived long enough to see my firstborn. A grand old soldier he was.

I have been 'on the go' since 7.00am and am now taking a well deserved break by doing my messaging on here! :-D

I’ve been to the cemetery today....dads anniversary

It was pouring with rain but still spent lots of time talking to him although if he could see me, he'd have gone nuts....me getting wet

I was totally alone, the cemetery was empty which is not the norm....but it was very cathartic as always

Ohhhh - Ginns !!

I don't understand your feelings about the 'deceased' but I do SO admire the loyalty that you pay to them!!

I hope you 'got something' from the time you spent with your dad and that he 'got something' from it also !!

Thinking of you!

OOhh- Ginns - I apologise !!!

I don't see things as you do (I wish I did!!)

It is lovely that you get SO much from visiting your dad and your mom - I just don't really understand it !!

I KNOW - I AM a 'Numpty' !!!

I guess we all approach things like that differently Dea. Neither OH nor myself have been to the cemetaries where our parents are for years and years. It doesn't mean we don't think about them - we talk about them quite often and have many happy and interesting memories.

I do like going round the local churchyard though.....and I remember far too many of the inhabitants thereof! Very countrified and peaceful.
