Well...I have no faith what so ever in my doctor so I do not go to see him.

I doubt very much whether he knows what is wrong with me and every time I have been to see him which is four times in the last two years he wants to shake my hand???
I suffer from numbness and pain in my right hand and always say NO it hurts....he muttered something last time about it was ok he had washed his hands??? Idiot
HID feels the same about him when he had to explain why he takes certain meds which this man has been prescribing for him all this time.

I feel a trip into hospital may sort some of my problems out without me having to explain to this so called doctor.

.I cannot remember the last time I had a cold certainly not in the last seven years anyway...touch wood

I meant in the losing weight because of being in hospital!

But your doctor doesn't sound too with it!

Is there not any other doctor in the area that you could go to?

There are 5 or 6 different doctors at this practice. We thought it would be like our old surgery, where you are allocated a doctor but you can see who you like....but not at this one :-(

There does not seem to be any local but I may try and get into one nearer to my parents about 2 miles away at least they have a car park

Nil by mouth will do me good lol
off to bed now

Hi dea

Lainie was finding her laptop was very slow, so she decided to take a break until her computer was mended ............ I think she said it would be about 2 weeks.

Cynthiaaaaaa

Queen of clean I need your help

Carpet from the porch could do with a clean before I re lay it. It is made of that stuff that looks like really thick straw.....door mat material Id say

It is fitted but I have taken it up to paint. What do you suggest other than a buddy good whack with a stick?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 26 Nov 2011 16:00

Boy! Am I glad to put my feet up for a while! Been busy since 7.30am almost non-stop...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Don't know why you bothered opening it R. I hardly get any and just delete them if they look suspicious.

Not sure about your mat Gins. Certainly a good thumping would remove quite a bit of dirt. Could you use a yard brush on it to loosen the dirt a bit or would that rip it up? Once you have got the loose dirt out, how about giving it a damp mop on a dry day? I have been known to mop mats before now! :-D

Dea

Dea Report 26 Nov 2011 16:17

Why on earth did you have to take it up to paint Ginns???

Wide masking tape laid on it around all the edges and tucked well down to the skirting boards is much easier!!!

Is it 'coir matting' Ginns?

Dea Xxx

Gee

Gee Report 26 Nov 2011 16:25

Its easy to take up although very heavy it must be about 4inch thick!

I think if I took a mop to it Cyns the mop would come orf worse!

Dea its just like the big heavy duty door mats but I bought it off a role like regular carpet and had it fitted.....dont know what the material is

Dea

Dea Report 26 Nov 2011 16:31

Sounds like this stuff Ginns!!

http://www.ehow.com/how_6702879_clean-coir-carpets.html

Can you not have a look at your receipt for the carpet and see what it is called?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 26 Nov 2011 16:39

Dea

Dea Report 26 Nov 2011 17:07

That is the one I suggested to you Ginns - Coir matting (made from coconut fibres) !!!

What dou you mean about the receipt ?? - Either it was 'knock off', or you are too disorganised to keep it ??? :-D :-D :-D

Anyway - have a look at that link again - give it a good beating and try the suggestion !!!
