Dea

Dea Report 26 Nov 2011 20:15

I KNOW Cynths - Ginny has just told me that !!!

I am a little bit behind due , in part, to the grandchildren's visits !!!

I might not be sane but I DO have all my receipts back from about 1970 !!!

They will come 'in handy' one day !!

Dea Xxx

Dea

Dea Report 26 Nov 2011 20:31

Cynthia Report 26 Nov 2011 20:45

Yes Dea, they will come in handy one day. Make a great bonfire they will :-D

My OH tended to keep things for a long time.......until I got him under control ;-)

I can understand keeping sentimental things to a point but, why would an old kettle/iron/washer receipt be handy???? De-clutter woman, you'll feel a lot better for it. Honest. :-D

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 26 Nov 2011 20:46

Sleep tight Dea......no bad dreams hopefully.

Dea

Dea Report 26 Nov 2011 20:51

I am trying my best to 'de-clutter' !!! Cynths !!

I have my 'shredder ' at the ready' - I MUST do it as I will probably go first and he will not know where to find anything as there is SO much rubbish surrounding it all

I'm not kidding ............ it is absolutely pouring down!

and this is Grey Cup weekend

The Grey Cup being the cup that is the trophy for the Canadian Football league ................... some people call it American style football, with differences. But in fact the Canadian version pre-dates the American

This will be the 99th year that the Cup has been played for.

It's held in different cities every year, and this year is in Vancouver. To almost every Vancouver fan's excitement ..... the Vancouver team made it to the final.

Think FA Cup Final, but with 55,000+ seats in the stadium (sold out), and about 50,000 more people on the streets, with festivities spread over 3-4 days (Thursday through Sunday), a street parade that takes 3 hours to pass one point, pancake breakfasts in the open, and lunches.

It's one big long party!

The parade was this morning through to early afternoon ........ poor so-and-sos looked like drowned rats in a photo I saw on the internet!

The game is tomorrow afternoon ............ and I believe the opening roof of the stadium will NOT be opened!

But it's why I most definitely have not gone downtown today :-D

Hi everyone!

Hope you are well.

Feeling okay today, ended up having an infection so am some antibiotics so feeling far more human today!

Back to the dr tomorrow to have the stiches out and find out when he wants me to go back to work. I'm oretty tired so hoping he will give me a couple of more days at home, I have plenty of leave up that I can take.

I noticed when I logged in today, I had lost some message from my inbox, about 15 I think which is a bit odd.

Nothing else much happening here. Cold, and very very very wet! Have the heater on today for the first time in awhile.
