Hi all,

Anything exciting happening here tonight?

Thanks for your comments, Gracie is a right cheeky monkey who is luckily sound asleep next to me!

Had to go and get her Christmas photos redone as they did them so far away she was just a dot and the photo's were a bit useless. Luckily everything is digital so it is all fixed now.

OH is in a foul mood, easier to let him sook on his own so am keeping the pc company tonight!

Nice to see Persie waving from Over the Rainbow.... :-D

Seems very one sided on here with some people, its OK while you're spending your time and money helping people but the minute you post something they dont like.....................sheesh

I use several computers with different browsers and chrome works best for me. Tried ie9 but had to edit everything so much.
I can stretch my boxes on Fred and on my notes so I can see more than a couple of sentences.

OOhh - that's good news Ginns!

I remember helping someone with their tree once and they could never find a marriage for one of their relatives so presumed hey never did!

They had been together through MANY census's but I did eventually find that they married at the ages of about 87 and 93 !!! - So they did it at last!!

I can't remember who they were or who's tree it was but I do remember that the person was extremelly pleased at the outcome.

I've got at least one pair who only married after all their children were born :-D Maybe it was something to do with the legalities and their wills (if they had them) - I've known that happen with older couples. It just took me ages to find their marriage........which, for me, was quite good really.

Gotta go now.........night all.....sleep well Dea.......~~~~

My 3x gt grandparents married 26 years after having their first child...both listed as widow/widower and not found the deaths of the previous spouses as yet. She married a seaman so he probably died at sea or she uped and left Liverpool and headed for London while he was away at sea, dont know what happened to his wife although I have just found a death which could well be her in 1837 in Cornwall so maybe she left him in London with his floozy :-D
