are we surprised???

I read the following this morning on the news page on my computer:-

"North Koreans sent to labour camps for not mourning enough

A news site that monitors activity in North Korea reports citizens of that country have been shipped to labour camps if they didn't shed genuine tears after the recent death of dictator Kim Jong-Il.

The North Korean government appears to have completed "criticism sessions" which allow neighbours and co-workers to identify people who didn't cry, or at least didn't appear genuine in shedding tears.

The minimum sentence for failing to mourn according to the script is six months in a labour camp."

I thought the tears looked fake on TV :-D :-D :-D

MarieCeleste Report 13 Jan 2012 20:38

Persephone

Persephone Report 13 Jan 2012 20:43

Dea

Dea Report 13 Jan 2012 20:47

I thought the same about the Koreans Sylvs. That crying was so forced and unnatural. What a harsh society to live in :-(

Gins....when I phoned A to renew my subs, I simply asked the cost of standard membership and was quoted the fee. I umm'd and ah'd a bit and then asked if there were any special offers on. The nice lady came back with the offer! :-D

Hope you have heard from OH by now Sylvs. He will have passed not far from here.......I am fairly near the motorway junction for various motorways.
