Hi all.

Sorry was not on yesterday had to look after small monster.

Gins happy to share the weight loss with you! I started with WW on Wednesday so am only two days in but so far so good.

Only thing is that I am finding I am getting up even earlier to try to have a cooked breakfast and get everything ready for lunch. I will have to be more organised for the next day I think.

Mind you I am enjoying having hot prridge with a chopped up date, then adding strawberries and a banana and maple syrup. Quite yum and keeps me satisfied until lunch!

It has changed a lot, so a little ocnfusing but I guess I will work it out!

To add to Cyn I love grapefruit but can't have it as there is a major adverse reaction with the Lipitor I take to keep my cholestrol.

I also cannot have grapefruit in any form, because of the High Cholestrol drug I take.

Blood pressure tablets forbid both of us to eat grapefruit..

I don't think they knew this years ago... my mother took BP tablets and ate quite a lot of grapefruit.

Himself has now lost 14kgs... we ran into a friend of his at Nosh where I get our veges and this chap has put on over 8kgs since Sept. He looked terrible, he was already quite heavy but now he looks decidedly pasty faced as well ...maybe that should be pastry faced.

I should add this is not to be taken seriously my observations have no medical reliability. :-S

Ive nicked some of Gracies 'hot prridge with a chopped up date, banana and maple syrup'........that sounds yum

Sylvs, can we have that on the breakfast menu for us slimmers <3

Since starting this healthy eating and exercise, I have had the worst weeks sleep ever, last night being the king of awake....I thought eating well was supposed to make you feel good :-S

Not giving up though. Im on a mission :-D

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 13 Jan 2012 08:57

Thanks Sylvs.....I'll help with the washing up whilst your OH is away.

Isn't it odd about the grapefruit thing.....and the way it interferes with certain meds ? :-S

My doc once told me that when you get to a 'certain age', the weight which lands in one's tum area is very hard to shift and any weight loss tends to come off other areas such as the face. I have decided to breathe in and keep smiling! :-D

I've never stuck to a diet for very long - no self control ;-)

Am hoping for a nice quiet day today............sigh.
