Gin,

A bit before your time I know but as an avid Blades fan I wonder whether you have any way of finding something out for me.

Did they have a player named Derrick Taylor (Correct spelling of his forename) as a player on their books in the early/mid 1950's?

Gee

Gee Report 28 Mar 2012 19:01

I shall search out my Blades enciclopedia, but it might be in the loft, so have to wait for JB to come back from the match

Gee

Gee Report 28 Mar 2012 19:13

Found it on the main book shelf......nothing about a player with that name Jonesey

Birthday girl now wants a ball dress.. I said put the money towards it.... er no.. she expects parents to comply. Maia is very steadfast in that what Maia says is correct.. end of story.

Had to laugh tho.. 10 year old Evan told to go to bed..once, twice three times by his mother and once by his dad and still he hadn't moved he was playing computer games and it was very late... so Nana went and shut his laptop. He opened it again and said I need to find that game so I know where it is cos I don't know if I can find it again... I said it will still be in the same place where you don't know where it is tomorrow now move yerself. I can speak the same language as him.. and off he went.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for Maia.. she has done well at school so am pleased with her most of the time... and the other one Anya that was so ill last year is also doing really well.. brilliant at maths and so is Evan he just hates story writing but he can sure tell one.

Cynthia Report 29 Mar 2012 09:33

ooooh....I speak that language too Persie and I also find that a lift of an eyebrow can work wonders :-D

Thank you for breakfast Sylvs.....spoilt for choice as usual.

Gins...I do hope you aren't one of those eat-while-you-drive people.......tuts.

It's another lovely day, housework done, washing on the line.

Off for a shower......
