It's a 'Health & Safety" thing Ginns - There are a lot of trees on the golf course and, of course, there are all those people waving metal clubs around or sheltering under the trees so if there is lightening about they have to sound the claxon and take everyone in off the course.

It has stopped here now so he might have to play after all but there will still be heavy rain and it won't do his cold any good to get soaked through :-( Plus which, I doubt he has enough energy to last the 18 holes :-0

It started off sunny this morning but is now dull and grey rain is forecast :-(

Dea will keep my fingers crossed for the lightening to stay ;-)

The storm went away but all he greens were flooded so the golf was called of anyway ;-)

Breakfast is ready ....................

Cheese and onion tartlets, sausage, egg and bacon pie, asparagus quiche...

Crispy bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, fried bread...

Platters of assorted hams and cheeses, freshly baked bread rolls, crackers..

Apple and cinnamon muffins, croissants, danish pastries, fresh fruits and berries.

A long day yesterday but we had a fab time. I think the bride and groom were pleased to have us there as they spent most of their time at our table!

Ate too much, drank a lot but not too much, crawled into bed about 2am

No Dea never made it to opticians had to cancel as I had a tummy bug will get

there at some point this week.

I lost the whole day yesterday but am now working on FT and my lot are eating off their knees tonight - I am not moving anything off the table

My friend who is visiting from Australia is coming over tomorrow.

Will be great to see her again (she is the one whose son died last year aged 16 )

Can't wait to give her a hug :-) :-)

Got ready for work this morning and just before I was leaving, got signs of a migraine. Rang in to say I wouldn't be in

Went back to bed with pain relief and managed to sleep through the worst of it

If I take the pain relief the moment I get the flashing lights it seems to catch it before it becomes 'full blown'

Oh dear Ginns - hope you are much better now. <3

At least that is one of the few things I don't suffer from thank goodness. ;-) :-D :-D

I have an exciting day ahead - a day out at the hospital !! ;-)

I will be there right through until late afternoon so I am going to take a lovely picnic and a couple of books for inbetween my procedures - I also have a very large bar of fruit and nut chocolate bought especially for the occasion :-D :-D :-D

Gins tree almost there you having a laugh.

It is still a "work in progress"

The problem is not having looked at it for about 3 years and not having the

paperwork in any order it is a case of looking at each certificate, note or piece of

paper and working out who it is.

Then I am putting it onto FTM which I have only just started using.

Toots is helping me and I have been trying out different features on FTM.

OH messed up my tree by adding his lot in with mine instead of starting his own tree :-(

Toots told me how to separate my lot and export them to a new tree. Yeah!!

Yesterday my friend from Australia visited so didn't get anything done.

Hopefully will get on with it today but I was up at silly o'clock (check the times I was posting on FB)

Couldn't get back to sleep for ages then slept later than I like doing.

Off to get started on housework :-(

Dea will have munched her way through about 4K calories by now!
