Morning :-D

Glad I popped in when there were bacon butties doing the rounds....thanks... :-D

I agree Gins......our Jonesey would have had something to say about last night's performance. I didn't see any of it because I was out.......and it was great on the roads because it was so quiet.. ;-)

Sounds like you are reading all the paper bumph which comes with your pills Gins. I rarely look at the possible side effects whenever I have to take meds - I'd end up suffering from everything!!

Dea, thank you for the kind offer to help with my soldiers......I'll ask on here when I hit a snag - as I undoubtedly will do!! :-D

Time to go walkies I think....~~~~

Gee

Gee Report 20 Jun 2014 15:14

I went online Cyns. Checked about 30 sources regarding the drug and I didn't find one that was in any way, positive :-0

By blood pressure today...........................

110/80

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

It's pretty quiet on here today, guess people are enjoying the sun :-D

Dea

You posted on a thread today, the one about the man posing to be an injured WW1 soldier

Where did you get that amazing extract from?

Dea

Dea Report 21 Jun 2014 16:35

I looked up the Liverpool Echo on FMP site Ginns.

Was hoping to find something in the Old Mersey Times but no luck there :-(

P.S. - I liked the bit about her giving him 'all the other assistance he pretended to need and her behaving 'very generously to soldiers' ;-) :-D :-D

"He was taken into a house, and a lady who had been behaving
very generously to soldiers gave him meals every day and all the
other assistance he pretended to need."

Good morning all :-)

Gosh! - I am up before Ginns this morning - I had better make a start on breakfast.................... ;-)

Bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs (poached or scrambled), fried bread.

Yummy blueberry muffins, croissants, danish pastries.

Plenty of cereals, fresh fruit, toast with sweet or savoury spreads.

Help yourselves please,

Good morning.... :-D

My word Dea, that is a breakfast fit for a king! Thank you........I love it all <3

Nothing much of interest is happening here at the moment......just busily plodding along with this and that. :-)

Dea, I have a couple of names you could, perhaps help me with in regards to my soldiers.

George Parker
John Pendlebury. (in fact, the lady who gave me the list has put John Pendlebury down twice - not sure if that is an error or not)

All I am looking for is basic info.......

date of death - where, how and where buried or remembered.
rank and regiment

1911 census info :
birth
parents
address
occupation pre war

Anything like war records is a bonus and a photo is an amazing plus!

And now I must away to get ready for you-know-where......... :-D :-D ;-)

Mornin~~~~~~~

I've been up since 6am Dea!

Yummy breakfast, thank you

Cyns

There are WW1 records with the names you give but without knowing when/where he was born, it's a bit hard to track the correct person?
