Having been through the stage of paddling pools, bouncy castles, football nets etc., we now have our little patio back again......with plants growing :-D


Not only did I nearly meet myself coming backwards yesterday, I think I actually overtook myself at some point..... :-0

Today is OH's birthday.

We are going out for a meal tonight to one of our favourite restaurants :-)

I've had a day from hell. A student who has been going through the 'process' at college was finally withdrawn today

Despite formal warnings previously, (about things from a - z) today he thought that is was ok to call Asian people 'P' and insisted it wasn't racist and repeated the word over and over

I'm a very laid back lecturer but I won't condone that sort of behaviour

That was the last straw, disgusting, he's gone

Just back from son's and dil's they asked us round for coffee.

OH hardly got in the door when O ran up to him with his card closely followed by F doing her best to carry his present .

as soon as he sat down O sang "Happy birthday grampa" :-D :-D

She had baked cookies with Mummy for grampa :-D

I am not surprised the other students thanked you Ginns - people like that so often get away with making others' lives miserable - it is nice to see one get his 'come-upance' !! ;-)

We got home just after 9pm.

The meal was lovely even better that we used vouchers that were given to us at Christmas.

We still have some left which we need to use by the end of the month.

I guess we will just have to force ourselves to go back ;-)

Remembering all those who have been affected by war on this special anniversary day.

Phew!! Busy -ish day.

Been out for bits and pieces. did 2 lots ofwashing while the sun is shining.

Housework done except for what needs ironed from the washings.

Now working on FT and the rest of the weekend is mine all mine :-)

Only thing I have to do tomorrow is visit optician to see if my eye is back to normal .

I bet something crops up tomorrow Linds!
