Good morning and thank you for the bacon butties Gins. :-D

Had an interesting moment at you-know-where yesterday. Our preacher was announcing that it was Walking Day next Sunday (annual walk of Christian witness around the parish), and she urged us to be there. She finished by say that we are still a Christian country, to which someone shouted "here here" and the congregation broke into a spontaneous round of applause". Very interesting and very moving.

Off to see what the day holds......... :-D

Shopping left on floor, kettle on etc

An hour later they left. OH went to visit his parents.

Well - thank goodness the rain has held off all day !

It was forecast but the sun is still shining (a little bit) behind the clouds.

Little grandson has been off on his very first school trip today - they have gone to a local farm/animal sanctuary which he knows and loves already because we often take them there so at least he will know his way around.

He will absolutely love it !

Linda Report 4 Jun 2014 16:26

Just had the girls for about 5 hours so parents could go for a late Anniversary lunch

Toys everywhere :-)

O complained that there was no room on the table for her Barbie's for all my paperwork.

I moved some of it to clear a space for her but it is staying on the table till I am finished organising it :-D

Sounds like my garden Linds........

We have recently bought a swing with two swing seats and a 2-seater glider. - They LOVE it !!!

We also have 2 slides, a small trampoline and a see-was thing and a decent sized paddling pool. They were playing happily on there the other day when grand-daughter looked around her and said " You haven't got any garden left grandad, but you don't use it much anyway"

She is quite correct, most of the lawn is now full ;-) :-D
