Morning

Gas man arrived bright and early and switched off the gas.

They are working on our section of the pipes outside.

Still to come and remove the meter and install new one.

Looks like we are staying in today.

I am being good and getting on with the FT that I haven't looked at for over 2 years.

I am finally doing what I should have done to begin with getting it onto FTM.

It is going to take forever as I have lost my place (I heard that Gins ) the stuff is in no order so I am jumping about all over the place.

At least I have got back to it so will just keep going till order is restored.

Dea I will reheat some of the leftovers for lunch in the microwave :-)

Why do men rinse dishes to an inch on their life and leave them in the dishwasher?

I couldn't tell this morning whether they clean or not

I wish my lot are more likely to leave them piled up and dirty :-(

I fought getting a dishwasher for years the boys did the dishes took turns a week at a time. dishes were done straight after dinner.

Now they take ages to load the dishwasher and guess who is left to empty it most of the time.

Both M and L got their flights ok they didn't get home from the studio till nearly 1am then they were up at 5am (so was I) :-(

Now we can enjoy the empty nest from tomorrow when P stays at his partners :-)

Good program on tonight on BBC4 Clydebuilt - the ships that made the Commonwealth.

Its the first of 4 tonight it covers the Cutty Sark.

From memory I think next weeks is about the cable ship Mackay Bennett who were sent to recover the bodies from the Titanic. This one also tells the story of the only child's body recovered from the disaster. It brings the story up to date and tells you what happened to him.

I don't remember hearing the final part of the child's story if anyone watches it next week let me know if it has been shown before please.
