What size is your wardrobe!!!!!!!!!

Dea,

Did you clear out a wardrobe or a clothes shop ;-)

It has stayed sunny and dry here not very warm though.

I do have 2 LARGE double fitted wardrobes all to myself and hubby has a small one recessed into the corner of the bedroom. All the drawers and top cupboards are also mine, plus the two drawers under the bed on my side

AND - the hangers were squashed quite tightly together ;-) :-D but I can actually see what is left in there to wear now :-D

I have wardrobes the full length of the bedroom, fitted floor to ceiling, the sliding type...............I /we do not have 167 hangers between us!

I don't have that many clothes in comparison to that I must admit. I mix and match mine a lot too. No need for any evening wear.......except jamas.....hahahaha....



Another busy day. Started on housework when OH gets the idea that we could take the dividing doors off - presumably for Summer!

Once that is sorted, I resume the housework. Then the hoover had a prob. Got that sorted. After that, the alarm company called about the annual service. And so it went on and on......but I eventually got sorted!! :-D

This afternoon I power washed part of the patio.....it was fine until I accidentally hit a plant pot and got a load of soil thrown in my face! I looked as though I had the Black Death....... :-D

I must admit Cynths - I don't need 'evening wear' nowadays but it was sad to have to get rid of everything as some of it is quite lovely :-( BUT, it will never fit me again so it all has to go.

I still have my memories though..............

Today is washing and housework day just hope it stays dry :-)

I am steadily filling the hangers Linds - I bought some last Saturday, some from my catalogue and have just returned from another trip with 7 more!! - ALL for the top half though :-( :-( :-(

I have that 25th wedding anniversary to go to next weekend - do you think it is acceptable to go in a very nice new top and jeans ?

They are quite nice Jeans and they 'do' fit so look quite nice :-S

Well, little grand-daughter is home !

She sounds excited but very tired but she has had a lovely time.

She has been Canoeing, abseiling, weaseling, stream scrambling, rock climbing and she has climbed 3 waterfalls and done an adventure course.

Yesterday and today she had a 'full english breakfast' (just to make grannie proud ;-) :-D ) and this morning she had a conversation with the Duke of Devonshire !!! :-0

I think she will sleep well tonight ! ;-) :-D :-D

I don't see why you cant wear jeans, so long as you smarten them up with shoes and a fancy top and bag

Thanks Ginns - I think it is just a 'my generation' thing but somehow, even though they look very nice with the tops and accessories, it just does not seem right to go in jeans :-S

I still have a week so maybe I will find something suitable before then ;-)

I am cream crackered.

Cynthia would be proud of me.

4 washings - even the dogs bedding got done.

Lounge dining room cleaned ( even put new felt pads on the bottoms of the dining chairs legs)

Windows washed. floors steam cleaned and polished.

Kitchen cupboards cleaned and organised. Fridge cleaned.

Only thing is will now have an ironing to do :-(

Might let OH do that tomorrow ;-)

We are having a takeaway as I am definitely not cooking. :-D

Dea if you don't want to wear jeans why not get a pair of black trousers that you can use again?

Tonight I am sitting and catching up on some movies we have recorded and doing nothing more strenuous than lifting a glass of wine ;-)

Linds - You would not believe just how hard I have tried to 'get a pair of black trousers' !!!!! - It is just not easy when you are a size 6 !

I have found a few pair in the right size but they are all the wrong shape :-( - They either go down to 'skinny' at the bottom or they have 'jodper shaped' hips which just do not fit me as my 'hips' are just straight down. All of them are also far too long .

Never mind, I will find something. ;-)

Well Ginns - I have several pairs of jeans and many of them 'are' quite smart so maybe I will go along with that and be 'funky' for a change ;-)

Do you think I will have to borrow little grandson's hair gel and spike my hair?? :-0 :-D :-D
