After a lovely weekend it is now raining..... :-(



Lots to do.......

We are going out for lunch in an hour with S-I-L

I will leave some apple crumble out for anyone who wants some.

My eye has been sore for a few days. Thought it was working up to be a sty but not itchy.

Woke up this morning and all along my eyelash line is swollen :-(

Could it be hay fever Linds or have you been bitten?

Not hay fever and not been bitten.

Pharmacist thinks it is the start of a sty.

Have to say it doesn't feel like a sty, not itchy.

It's been sore for about 4 days now. I am bathing it with salt and water.

Will give it a couple of days and if no better will go see doctor.

Maybe I am allergic to all that super glue I used a few weeks ago ;-)

How do you know it's not hay fever? It can start later in life

I didn't have it until I was in my 30s

Gins don't have any other symptoms wait and see what happens :-)

Well - I has been out for a nice pub lunch - AFTER doing a bit more of my clothes sorting!! - Nearly there !!! :-D

Evening All :-)

We had the girls today.

The travel cot has been playing up for ages will only lock on 3 sides and even then its a fight.

Had enough so OH went to Asda and got one for £20 :-D :-D

While little one was sleeping O and grampa planted lots of seeds. she had a ball.

Then they were out in the garden playing for a bit.

O then decided we had to bake. Only problem was I only had one egg :-(

Luckily I had one of those pastries that you just unwrap and cut and cook.

She has told me I have to do 2 cakes next time (and she has a memory like an elephant)

Its just started raining :-(

Went to see nurse about my eye today. She had a look then went to get one of the Doctors to have a look.

Doctor decided it is Blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids)

She printed out 7 pages of info on what to do.
I have to clean the lash line with diluted baby shampoo and continue what I have been doing for a few days.

If no better go and see optician or go back to see her.

When the Dr left the nurse said "you have been doing all that for over a week I would see the optician no later than Friday"

I went straight over to the optician who put drops in my eyes and gave them a good check. I have got stuff to use and she gave me a prescription for cream to moisturise my eye and stop it feeling irritated.

So have done nurse. doctor, optician and pharmacist today :-(

I couldn't just have a flippin sty like everyone else could I ?

I have also booked one day tickets to the WDYTYA in Glasgow in August.
