Ok simpson bloke has gorn on his hols how about a marriage for this couple which could well be before 1837 in Hertfordshire the name should be Anstee not Anstead |

Thanks LK not the one I'm affraid I have them in all other census's from 1841 -1881 and he is a stationer or bookseller and the son Charles H had the same profession |

Couldn't find anything more on him but did find that a Thomas Carss died in Linton Colliery in 1907 , aged 40! |

Thank you Dea...I have no doubt that is a rellie of my friend,and she may already have it ,but we are only interested in the David one as he was her grandad and she really wanted his inquest details..She was rather upset at what was on the death cert so wanted to find out more if poss.. |
