Had a shock this morning when there was a great thumping on our front door at about 8.45...........we had a parcel!

Rather puzzled we opened this large box to discover a gift from a friend of ours. They had phoned us at Christmas to say that they were unwell and would we mind receiving their annual gift at Easter!

It is someone with whom we had been associated with prior to retirement and who had held the office of High Sherriff and Vice Lord Lieutenant in the area where we lived. They had been so very, very, kind to us over the years and I am really touched by this gesture because I think their illness is terminal. I am grateful to have known so many wonderful people in my life.

Dea........have cleaned the downstairs windows at the back of the house! Everytime I wipe my windowsills down out there, I always think of my mum saying about not having a house with a "Queen Anne front and a Mary Anne back"........don't know where she got that from!!

Am going out for lunch and then ................????

Afternoon all

Is'nt that a look up DET?

Dally asked for a look up on FMP page wednesday I saw it within an hour, looked it all up then left. Someone replied giving the same details I found 24 + hours later and she has returned to the post said its not the right person without even a thank you to the girl.....Cheek of it

Ah! Silly me! Yes, you're right it was on the FMP board. No wonder it wasn't on GR!!! Brain not in gear. Was still getting me knickers in a twist trying to register an anonymous account - lol

Can't recall who asked for it - it was the original poster's name which had caught my eye.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Jax. :)

Hi All

I have never felt this tired in years. I never thought being 32 could make me feel so old so I think I'm going to have to revise my age and be 30.

I think I'm going to have an early night

Dea

Dea Report 18 Mar 2011 19:56

I am REALLY 'fed up' now !!!

Every time I post a message on here I lose it and can't get back in !!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrr

The last one was to Toots!!

I said something like - You should not feel that tired Toots - I can almost give you double on the age and even 'I' am not in bed yet !!

Perhaps this message will disappear into the ether too???

Thanks Dea

I've been 32 for many years now. I even have to work out my real age when I go to the Dr's and my real date of birth. I have been know to ask what it says on her computer to see if it jogs my memory lol.

I've just been rushed off my feet. A hot bath and good nights sleep and I will be 32 again.
