I agree - you should not bother 'rising to the bait', BUT - You are 'putting yourself down' yet again Ja...x - You have words just as good as anyone else's!!

Oooh. Dea. You DO sound fierce tonight!

Where's the rest of the rabble tonight then?

Dea

Dea Report 18 Mar 2011 21:15

Cynthia,

I am sure I am not sounding fierce ?????

I am confused, as always, with that aggressive/assertive thingy, but I was just a little cross with the site losing all my messages and constantly 'spitting me out' !!!

AND - I hope I was not fierce with Ja...x as I am really concerned about her lack of 'self confidence' - She is SO useful on here but does not seem to recognise the fact !!!

Poor Toots - she really cannot stand the pace like us 'oldies' can she ??

Are you doing O.K. today Cynths ??

I do not lack self confidence Dea, but I do realise my English and grammer is not up to scratch...I only managed to leave school with a grade 5 CSE....for turning up lol.

It seems a lot of things I have said on FB and even on this thread have been misunderstood in the past....so unless she actually mentions my name I will stay quite

Best way Ja...x.

Dea Xxx

P.S. - I don't think I even got a grade 5 !!!

I seem to remember that I 'resigned' from school at the age of 16 with practically nothing !

I have done a lot more since though !!

B#####r your English + Grammar - there is nothing wrong with it that I can see!!

4 little numbers on the Weds night Lotto paid £84...Ho hum...

Havent done the lotto for ages and invested a pound on a lucky dip while in't T Co-op on Tuesday...
Missed out on a 5th number which paid just over £2000.00 by them drawing no 2 instead of No 1.....

Only found out just now when thinking to check the results, after another day of being Bob the builder and reshelving my airing cupboard,so all this excitement means I have to go lie down now...

See you tomorrow maybe,or maybe not.

Must go for that lie down now..

I'm fine thanks Dea. I quite like Fridays to be honest - no cooking :))

I agree with Dea ja...x, you certainly have a knack for research. As for the otherside, it really isn't worth losing sleep over to be honest.

Night Dea xx

At least I managed to stay on until till the end of 5th form, and my parents decided to move 25 miles away from the school smack bang in the middle of the exams....does make me wonder.

Found out from my 14 year old they have to stay in schooling for another year now so she will be nearly 18 before she can legally leave I think?

T'aint the excitement which means you have to lie down Fans.....it's because you are getting...ol.....er..........getting over the hard work.

I didn't like school and certainly wasn't academically minded.....loved English, hated maths. Went to Secretarial College, work, marriage and, like Fans, joined the University of life. Wouldn't change it either....except for the health issues with my lot.

I have two of my dad's school reports from 1927 when he was about 14....the first one reads.....Industrious and obliging. Works well and reads hard. A good sportsman. The second one....Has always been a good worker. Attentive and taking a delight in eveything. Fond of Reading - go on. Should do well. - from a little village school in High Wycombe. Lovely to have and to remember him by.

Nearly bedtime for me too as it gets to 11pm before I know it. Night night all. ~~~~~

Well Ja..x.....it keeps the unemployment figures down!

Keep em on at school....sorry Skool and then the non academics should be real turned off by the time they get to leaving

Whatever is decided.....please don’t educate the working class...they could be lethal ;)
