I am led to believe, by my cousin, who says she saw it, that some in the UK were subjected to my ugly mug on TV. I was on one of those reality programmes courtesy of my daughter. It ran on SKY and was about my daughter, SIL and grandkids over here it was called "Birth Days." I wish to apologize for the pain if anyone had been subjected to having to watch same.

Why does she have to comment on everything I say?

I dont think I have complained about the site either...only the help clinic that I can think of.

I was trying to say FMP and Ancestry do not have a community board not like this site, I was not talking about her favourite site rootschat. If she uses the other two I mentioned as she says she does she would know would'nt she?

I dont know if you noticed her look up post on FMP page? I saw it within hours of her posting it and looked it up...but of course did'nt give her the info lol

Anyway it took 36 hours for someone to give the same details I found, which all she basically said was no thats not my family!!! not a thank you for looking either

Irene, thanks for that about Irish and Scottish ancestry. (But just because someone is fool enough to put their name and email address on the internet doesn't mean we should copy it around for them!!) Since I have no idea who she is (and whether she's touting for business?), and asking for info about someone born in "Ireland" is kind of ... pakled-ish ;) ... and I have no idea what resources she is accessing ... I dunno, just strikes me as a tad odd.

in your compose box. Then you've copied it and won't lose it if you backpage and try again. (I find that in firefox my post is generally still there if I backpage.)

I haven't looked back over there yet, but I did point out that these Community boards exceed any others that I've used, including roootschat, particularly in the speed of response.


I've found that only 1 or 2 people respond when I post something on rootschat, and I'm never quite sure where to post on there anyway. The families I'm looking for move between counties


Do I enter the question in A or B, or in both A and B, or what.


Here, the question is just asked re the person, and the helpers overlap.


............. and as for the complaints on here re people never answering pms


I've sent the same question to one person on rootschat 4 times over a period of 4 years.

she shows as having posted "recently" every time, but has never answered my query.


Yet I'm certain OH's family is connected to hers.

A bit of a setback today. I went for a wander in the night as you do and was 3/4 asleep. Took a trip over a laundery basket and stretched out my poorly arm to compensate. It is throbbing today and had to restart the painkillers. I also worked a clinic today.
However i have been ding the exercises and was able to raise both arms to above face level yesterday.
Not bad eh?

I do hate it when they dismiss the info found, had one earlier that told me the mother was wrong because he had seen a different name on IGI

Proved him wrong but also had to mention his tree on ancestry where he had the childs father baptised 4 years before he was actually born.....makes you wonder sometimes
