Is it just me that has not got an iphone, blackberry or android?? I have trouble texting so there is no way I could fiddle about with one of those.

I dont have any of those things Ja...x
Whats an Android?
Kryton off Red Dwarf is all I can think of..

I did get a new (to me)phone a while back (pay as you go)and cant get on with it at all,but it does take good pictures,so have put a different sim card in it just for taking pics and use my old mobile for taking when I go out...But I loathe texting as its quicker for me to phone than spend an hour trying to text..;)

Oldest daughter got a blackberry yesterday thanks to me and youngest got this one called HTC which comes up as via android on FB. I used to be into texts 10 years ago but now I cant be bothered my contract is 300 texts and 300 mins I probably use 3 texts and 30 mins if I'm lucky.

I have said to the girls to ring or send a message on FB too difficult to text now and I cannot see the silly little buttons

Cheaper for you to get Pay as you go then wouldnt Ja...x?

Never did get into texting..Much prefer to just say it and then I can hear the tone of their voice (sons)the other end to know if they are lying about being busy or not..:)

Its only £10 a month so its there if I need it, its really only since I have been at home all day that I have not needed it. Could do with a new phone as this one is 3 years old and battery does'nt last very long but there are so many I would'nt know what one is easy to use or good

Just put the order in for youngest grandsons 1st birthday prezzie on 18th April and due to the fact that I didnt buy him anything when born (they lived with his maternal grandparents then)I said I would extend to a toy box of their choice.....Silly move....Eeeeeeeeek....

But a bit of luck that its coming from No 2 sons fathers pine/oak shop and I get it at cost..;)

M's father made a toybox for MJ ..... he's a very good carpenter and craftsman

Trouble is ................... it's so bloomin' large that they can't get it up the stairs to kids bedroom, so it has to stay in the living room

It stands next to one of the settees, stands almost as high as the high arm of the settee, and fills half the space of the double door width archway to the dining room!

Kid'll have to hang head down into at least until about the age of 10!

beautiful piece of furniture though!

Hi Sylvs.

Ja...x my mobile cost me the grand sum of £9.99. I just pay when the balance is low. No contract or anything. Suits me fine. Am hactually quite good at texting. If you're struggling with seeing the keypad, then I think you can get quite large keypads on some phones. Worth googling.

I have an iPhone Jax and find texting a lot easier because it gives you a virtual keyboard. Very easy to use and it also shows messages sent and received in conversation bubbles.

I agree with Fans it would be cheaper for you on pay as you go. When my contract runs out in Sept I will be converting to Pay as you go because it is very easy to top up these days and and you get free texts and minutes depending on who you go with.

jax Report 1 Apr 2011 17:22

I also have to use the phone with my left hand, does'nt help I would like one with a decent camera too...that bumps the price up. I think the one I have cost £100 3 years ago but its nothing special

The toy box they want matches the other furniture they have already got from same shop...
Its just a blanket box really I think, but sounds good as a toy box...Pine or Oak I dont know...All I will see is the bill of course..!
