Tea or Coffee

Porridge, Cereals, Fresh Fruit Juice
Eggs, Bacon, Mushrooms, Hash Browns, Sausages, Black Pudding
Toast or Morning Rolls.

Have a hearty breakfast.

Morning all,

If you're reading this then you have made it through the night. Bet you're glad eh. !

Bit of a thaw on. The snow is now wet and sticky. Horrible. Prefer the nice powder stuff or nice and crisp snow.

Well I figure....if we have to have it......why not something I can enjoy.

Not a lot planned for today so I may just pop in and out to annoy everyone.

Marilyn.....Shells ! My dear Lady brough a pile of them back from Florida.
They keep popping up in various places around the house.

Have a good day ya all !

Morning everyone,
Stephen I have never been to Scotland but always wanted to. One of these days I will get up there as a lot of my Irish ancestors (Lamonts) hailed from there. The scenery looks spectacular.
Got a few bits and pieces to do this morning and then more hunting for those elusive ones including Mo's Matthias!!
Hope you all have a nice relaxing day

Rita,

Morning Rolls, I suppose it's a Scottish thing.

The local shops, Newspaper and small Grocers, have fresh rolls delivered very early in the morning.
Folk tend to have them at breakfast time or mid morning while they are still very fresh.
They come loose and are not pre-packed like the Supermarket ones.

Great with Bacon or Egg on them.

Hi Linda Mike has been very depressed but he got some good news this morning my daughter in Law works as intensive care nurse at a hospital in Harefield Mikes consutlant said the Kidney had. had a massive tumour but they had taken tissue from around it and it is all clear. Mike has to have a small operation later on but things look good,This has cheered Mike up. he see the consultant on Thursday
Thank you for asking.

Stephen I know when we have been on holiday we go hott rolls for breakfast in the mornings
, I recall mother in law going to her brothers shop in the villiage he had a bakery and she use to buy rolls early morning, she never called them early morning rolls but it makes sense. these rolls were made with gulls eggs the men use to climb the cliff and gather gulls eggs which was used to make the bread. it tasted fishy. they dont do it now to my knowledge but I am going back to 1972 or there abouts.

Marilyn when my sister lived in New York she use to take the children to see the St Patricks day parade she said it was somthing to see. brilliant they really went for it all the way.

I bet the pub in Cricklewood broadway and Kilburn will be full of people celebrating . last year I was staying with my sister and they were all in the road singing and dancing. the Irish flags were flying.

Linda, I can't tell you relieved I was to hear that my nephew M was home.
My daughter rang me to let me know, but I have heard nothing from my brother at all. Shows how close we two are doesn't it.

It's such good news about Mike as well Rita. I hope all goes well with his
Consultant on Thursday. It sounds like he is not as depressed as he was, thank god.
I hope you had a good time with your daughter and son in law. Did they have a look at your scanner for you, or is it still o.k after your fixing it.

Cath, thank you for having a look for my Matthias, but please don't give yourself a headache over him. If he's not to be found, then so be it.
You are supposed to be relaxing today love.

Oh please Marilyn, don't go down the road of the Americans, with their plastic surgery. We like you the way you are honey.
I'm surprised not to see someone with a belly button stuck in the middle of their foreheads, where they have so many face lifts. lol !!!!!!!

Pat, have you been watching the Rugby this afternoon.?

Maddie, what do you think upset you last night. Was it because you ate late at night, to give you indigestion. I hope you are feeling a little better now. Try and catch up on some sleep this evening.

The news from Japan, is so shocking isn't it. The Nuclear Reactors must now be so unsteady, after the quake. It's so frightening isn't it.

Yvonne, is there anymore news on you M.I.L. I hope your OH had a safe journey up to see her.

Hi Stephen. I hope you are enjoying your day.

I wonder what has happened to our Jean,Shelly and Pauline today.

Hello everyone, hope you are all ok and have had a good weekend.
I have been on the roads for the weekend, first time I took my vardo out this year. it is so relaxing just going along at my own pace with just my horse for company. only had one little upset, a group of 3/4 young lads, early teens I would say, thought it was funny to throw stones at Connor, [my horse] but a farmer who was travelling on his tractor soon sent them on their way.
Good news about your nephew Mo, am so pleased for you, and how is your beautiful baby Lilly?
Rita glad the news about Mike is good, you must be so relieved.

Am off to have a shower now and then relax with a cuppa..

Take care and stay safe.

Back for a quick nosey.

Mo, I had a small tipple last night, and ate some cashew nuts. So whether the combination made me a bit dickey I dont know. I had a rotten 'earthy' feeling this morning, but it has eased thanks. Lunch went down well, so hopefully it was just a glitch. lol

Pleased for your nephew Mo, and hope your son is feeling better Rita.

Plastic surgery? Who wants to look like a rabbit caught in the headlights? There is a customer of mine who has had something done. Bad enough to see on tv. but even scarier in life. She is very 'shiny' and startled.

Getting me things ready for the morning, dont like to run around like a headless chickadee in the mornings, too many things to do.

Apparently the Rugby was good, Kevin and Dave screaming like banshees.

Maybe back later - Waking The Dead on tonight.
