Patricia,
If I tried to read that book in bed I'd have a War on my hands.

Lovers in Love.
Does it always have to be Paris when lovers fall in love? In Ballyglass & Ballyvara, there are blue skies up above.
And why should it be Berkley Square when the nightingale sings her song? Love blossoms in Ballyhaunis if the right one comes along.
That old black magic has you in its spell; It happens down in Marakesh & in Market Square as well.
The leaves of brown come tumbling down; Remember? Don’t we all. Love grows in sweet September strolling through Moore Hall.
‘Love is all around’ the Beatles sang & I’m inclined to agree. Romance comes dropping with the leaves that carpet Ballinaglee.

Afternoon everyone
OH just got back from his mums, she's still taken fluids but not eating very much, OH managed to chat with her then she fell asleep, doctor is calling in but hadn't arrived before OH left. Hospital said she could go back in but she wanted to stay at home, the carers come in 3 times a day to help with bathing etc.
Maddie I hadn't thought of ITV+1

Good afternoon everyone. Whew, I am exhausted, we have been painting since early this morning, over at our daughters house. One more day should see the back of it. Why the heck has our daughter decided to go from dark green paint, to a cream. It has taken three coats to cover the darn colour.
Linda, I hope you have managed to catch up on all the washing, and got it all dry. Mine was on the line at 8.30 this morning, as we had lovely sunshine. It sounded strange hearing that everyone had got frosty cold weather, when it was lovely here.
Shelly, why the eck didn't you pop in to me for a cup of tea if you were down at Herne Bay. Blimey mate you were on the Thanet way, and if you went through the Medway Towns, you would have literally have passed my road.
Pat, it was like War and Peace at my daughters today, with us both trying to work round each other. I could write a book about it, but the language was so blue, it may have been unprintable.
Thank goodness your daughter was able to sort your printer out Rita. I know you said it is not very old. Well done on printing out all your censuses, they are there now for future generations to view.
Has anyone heard from Pauline today, I hope she is o.k.
Hi Jeniwren, it's good to hear that the weather was kind to you at the weekend. Do you normally stop at the same farm, where you did this time. The Farmer sounds like he's a true gent, letting you camp behind his barn for shelter.

Sorry Yvonne, you posted whilst I was typing. Bless MIL wanting to stay at home, thats only natural really isn't it, as we all feel more comfortable in our own surroundings, and hospitals can be sooo clinical.
The carers will probably give her more tender loving care than the hospital.
I hope she will be o.k though love, and that your OH and you can stay strong.

Hi all, I haven't been well, I'm not often ill - so I take badly to it when I am.
Haven't read all the thread, think I've missed too much to try and read it all.
Sorry to hear about your MIL Yvonne, I hope she isn't in any pain. If she stays pain free and comfortable it'll be the best you can ask for.
Are you in love Dermot or is it just that spring is in the air?
Rita, it's interesting to see what work the people in the street did all those years ago.
Have you still got snow Stephen? We don't have any but we've had thick frost and all the water barrels have been solid ice every morning for a week.

Shelly, I'm right handed but I use both hands (and all fingers) to type, I'd be here all day if I only used one hand.
My sister only used 2 fingers to type but she was very quick.

Pauline, Still have snow on the hills here. I'm a bit lower so it has gone apart from where I piled it up.
Just had word that a chap I knew has died rather suddenly, age 60, a bit of a shock to all who knew him.
Jean, If I think I will ever be near your area I would love to see your Van and meet your horse. I'm glad the farmer was on hand to chase the youngsters.
About to have my tea....it's early tonight.

Hi Everyone, Back home after work. I've been and got fish and chips. It's enough for two! Shelley I'm left handed as well but I can use both hands! War and Peace is just like any other book really. People falling in love, somebody dying and someone getting the money. I've read it all before. I'm about half way. What gives the book notoriety is the length of the book. Sorry that you haven't been very well Pauline. I hope you feel better soon.

Hope you enjoy your fish and chips Pat, my hubby brought some in on Saturday because I couldn't be bothered to cook. They were lovely, but massive portions.
What are you cooking Shelly?
Stephen, it's very sad about your friend............ 60 is so young. Did he live near you?
Pleased to hear you don't have any more snow.

Patricia.... .Fish and Chips.....I'm so old I remember when they used to wrap them in newspaper.Gave you something to read while you ate them !
Can't remember when I last had Fish and Chips and carried them into the house.
Pauline Michael, or 'Ray' as he was known lived in Airdrie, about 40 miles from me. Yep! he was rather young. He had led an exciting life though.
No low level snow just now but the forecast is not so good..
Got a couple of wee jobs to do for the next hour or so......back later..

Patricia,
Is that chippy too handy for you ?
I'd be like a wee elephant in no time at all if I had one that close to me.
The smell alone would send my weight sky high ROFL
I used to be a 10st weakling.....I'd love to be that again.

Marilyn, You're a poet and you don't know it! Stephen, I go in there Monday and Wednesday! I've just weighed myself- 7 and a half stone so i think they take pity on me! Dermot, I've nver been to any of your places mentioned in your poem! This is most probably why the love you talk about is the love I read about. Some young girl in War and Peace has fallen in love with 2 men! noithing changes I tell you! Anyway time for bed with a cup of coffee and more War and Peace x.
