I'm already there Mo, I needed a lie down after all that excitement.

I think Harry looks like Diana's brother and her father.

Edit: Oops, we posted at the same time Yvonne. Leave the food alone, or you'll never fit into that slinky dress you got for tonight.

Hey you two, how did we miss each other.

I am just going to have another bath, I have got to get the smell of them horses off of my clothes. I know I shouldn't have stood there talking to that mounted policeman for so long, but I was lost, and he did offer to show me the way back to the hotel. He was sooooooo nice, and it was only a little k.... oops mustn't say, I am sworn to secrecy.

I did see Maddie earlier, in her little Tuk Tuk, but I believe she was shooed out of the parade up the Mall, by a big burly policeman, I haven't seen her since. Mind you knowing Maddie, she has probably sneaked in by a secret door, she knows them all dontcha know.

Don't take all the hot water Mo, save some for the rest of us

Mo in Kent Report 29 Apr 2011 16:00

Yvonne, the prices this place charges, there had better be enough hot water for all of us, or there will be hell to pay, but no bills paid on leaving.

The Syrian Ambassador was invited & then un-invited.

Sarah Ferguson was not invited at all. Interesting to see what happens when her two lovely daughters tie the knot.

Mo in Kent Report 29 Apr 2011 16:14

Hmmm an interesting thought is that Dermot. But I doubt if they will get as much pomp and ceremony, as we have witnessed today though.

well that went off well dont you think ? I thought the whole thing was so moving. I liked it when William drove out of the Palace in his fathers car with the balloons and ribbons on it. If Victoria was a live she would have said " I am not amused ."

The little bits we didnt see I thought were very funny the Priest doing a cart wheel up the isle where the trees were. I wonder what he will say if he didnt know it was being filmed and see's it on TV.

Dermot I thought the same thing what will happened when Fergusons daughters get married ? will Mother not be invited or will most members of the Royal Family not attend the wedding.

I beleive there is another royal wedding coming up soon ? not sure if it is Princess Anne daughter or one of the others. ? Marrying a Rugy player.?

We have a party going on in the next turning. the private car pak belonging to us has been overtaken by cars from this party I. counted 12 the music is so loud I have had to closed all my windows and doors to the rooms and the party is three doors away from me all young men and women they seem to have a party every other week. The Estate Manger went to get her car out of the car park a few minutes ago as she went out, not for her to put up with the racket, and she had a job getting her car drivers door open she didnt walk down and ask them to lower the music.or about parking in a car park , that tells you something.

I SHALL WALK ALONG THERE MYSELF IF THEY CARRY ON AND ASK THEM MYSELF.

I know what they will say and it will be alot of swearing.

Did anyone see the similarity between Catherines' dress and that of Princess Margarets? Both very fitted in heavy silk.

I thought it was great, but I missed the car taking them away from Buck House.

Mo dear, how can I say this to you dear? The Old Bat is not Me. SHE is someone taking my name in vain. She is the one with the tuk-tuk, I am far too ladylike to ride a tuk-tuk. One just doesnt, dont you know. lol

Street party up the other end of the road. I stayed up our end of the road.

Just seen Princess Grace of Monaco on the news and there are similarities there too Maddie.
Did anyone else see Princess Ann at all in the programmes shown? I did see her outfit on a web page so she was definately there. Just wondered.

Enjoy any parties you might be attending. Me I am at home waiting til hubby gets home as usual

Come on everyone, where are you all. I have had two glasses of champagne, here in the bar, and I am getting some rather strange looks,as I appear to be the only unaccompanied female, and I need some back up.

Maddie dearest, was that the old bat named Auntie Motie, that I spotted earlier this morning going down the Mall.
Pon my soul no wonder that policeman took her away rather quickly. My apologies to you, for slandering your name.

Evening everyone,
I'm back from seeing it on the big screen.
It was very good. I think about 70 people turned up in the end.
I liked what Princess Eugenie was wearing. very chic and very smart.
Princess Anne was there. I saw her in the congregation. I liked her outfit.
I did have a piece of cake and a glass of champagne!
It was a lovely wedding!I did see someone wearing lime green and I did see a couple of chaps in kilts!

Stephen2009 Report 29 Apr 2011 19:53

Evening All !

I missed it all............I have just spent the frigging day in Hospital.

I had nipped out to one of my outhouses to get a set of drain rods for a neighbour when my left leg suddenly went limp and I crashed down onto the floor.
My left knee hit a sharp edge and I feared the worse. I thought I'd broken the Patella. Eventually got back to the house and had my wife call an Ambulance. No way could I get in a car. It eventually arrived nearly three hours later. In the meantime I am in total agony.
After hours waiting around and a couple of Xrays and having been seen by numerous doctors etc they decided that I didn't have a breakage.
My leg is firmly strapped rigid. And I am totally pi**ed off.

The leg is weak compared to the right leg due to having the muscles damaged a number of years ago. It tends to drag a bit when I get tired after long walks but this is the first time that I have lost all power suddenly.

Bit of a bummer of a day.

Hope it went better for William and Kate. No doubt I will see it on the various repeats over the next few days.

Oh dear Stephen.
Take it easy. I hope you're not in too much pain.
What a day for it to happen. You're not likely to forget the date.
I'm sure there'll be a dvd of the ceremony!

Oooh Stephen, fancy falling down without even having a wee dram. Take care my friend, and just let the world go by for a few days, till it feels better.

Sally, there was I, "waiting at the church, waiting at the church, ooh how it did upset me.".
I was all alone as well, and decided to come back to Claridges to have a nice warm bath.
Come and join me in the bar downstairs.
Are you going to come down as well Pat.

PatriciaAnn

Sorry to hear that you have a bad leg Stephen. You really did miss a beautiful wedding. I saw somebody in the crowds wearing plaid, but it wasn't a kilt it was a lady in a skirt !!!
Hope the leg heals quickly and you aren't in too much pain.

Well I've watched so much TV today, whilst knitting at the same time !!! Blanket coming along a treat.

I'd love to be at the reception tonight, but fear they might feel I am tooooo old. Just let the young ones enjoy themselves.

Off for a long soak in the bath in a minute, might help me sleep better tonight.
