Pat and Sally,

Part of the saga today was caused by the NHS having partially closed one Hospital and partially opening a new one and at the same time transferring some patients to another Hospital for treatment.

No one seems to know who goes where and what Hospital is doing what treatment.

Needless to say Medical Notes from previous visits could not be found.

The pain is fine now....... like a nagging toothache......

Won't be able to have a shower tonight.........Mrs Stephen will just need to give me a Bed Bath. Magic. ROFL

I'm sat in the corner drinking god knows how many Baileys. I feel a bit squiffy!

Sally, don't let on that Pat's been on doubles since she's been here, no wonder she feels squiffy.

Whatever happened to queues outside telephone boxes; in fact, you don't see too many such boxes anymore.

Where have all the hitch hikers disappeared to? People rarely ask for directions these days. What about those occasional doom-laden messages radio broadcasts:- 'Would Mr Smith, touring the Westcountry in a blue VW, please contact home for an urgent message'.

Motorbike couriers have vanished - no loss there. Faxes & telegrams - gone too.

Herhum. Oh but I have had a lovely time. I met a guardsman when I was looking for the Loo. He gave me a guided tour, I got to see all the bits that the usual folk dont. Smiles secretly.

All I can say is that the Throne needs re-upholstering.
