Afternoon all
I like smoked salmon so if you can spare a bit Linda send some my way lol
Sally nice to see you posting again, I still get weepy from time to time when I think about my mum, she's passed away 15 years ago, she was living abroad when she died so we didn't have a chance to say goodbye.
OH went to his appointment today for an ultrasound scan to check his kidneys and his stones have come back, 7 in one kidney and 3 in the other, they are all small at the moment but he's to see doctor in 10 days to talk over the results and decide on treatment. He had the same thing 4 years ago and they got blasted away.
Hope Max is ok today x

Good afternoon everyone. I have had a p.m from Jeniwren, Max was comforted by his mum last night. Jean said that she bought his mum in to settle him down. It was a cold night for her, but knowing our Jeniwren, she would not have settled knowing that Max was unsettled, so stayed with them both.
Sally, as Pauline has said, time is a great healer, and remember the good times with mum, as she would want you to.
Yvonne, your poor OH. 7 stones in one kidney and 3 in the other, my word, I bet he is in a lot of pain, bless him.

Thank you Mo for that information about Jean Horse. I have been wondering all day how he was. ? Yvonne I am sorry to hear about your husband and the stones we do suffer dont we. I had my gall bladder removed over 15 years ago they did lots of things to get rid of mine tried crushing didnt work I ended up in The James Paget Hospital in Norfolk very ill. as they put me on a waiting list for a year. till another hospital stepped in and said they would take me in the next day The Norfolk and Norwich hospital funny the JP found room for me the next day as well when I told them. I hope they can do something quick for your husband Yvonne and get rid of those kidney stones.
I have just lost a friend and neighbour she had a fall just before Christmas in her flat I think it was a stroke as she didnt know where she was and she went downhill after that.ended up in hospital been there three months and died today. I will miss her she was a lovely person.

Hello everyone, hope you have all had a good day. The vet came this afternoon to check on Max, he said he will be ok, but must stay in stable for a couple more days. I have to change the dressing on his leg twice a day for the next 5 days and he will call again in 2 days. I had to bring Max's mum in last night as he was very unsettled, he is a real mummy's boy lol. It went very cold here last night but at least we didn't have any frost, but I was ok, had my blanket and flask Had a visit from police, they now know who it was who shot him and have both lads in custody, dont know what will happen they are both 17, so may get off with a warning although they may be responsible for 3 other attacks on horses recently. Thank you all for your kind messages. Am going to eat now then go back to Max. May you all enjoy a peaceful night. Jean xx

Cath, there is no way Jean will leave Max on his own tonight, he is like another son to her, and we all know what we are like with our children. I hope they throw the book at the blighters who did it. They need locking up in the stocks for a few days, and see how they like it when people throw things at them, for what they have done. It certainly wouldn't be as painful for them, as it was for poor Max. I hope you have success in finding the "elusive" ones. It's like looking for the Scarlet Pimpernel sometimes isn't it.
Rita I am sorry to hear about your neighbour. Bless her, may she rest in peace.

Those who watched Exile who was it that died ? I missed that bit as my telephone rang. was it the guy who claim to be his father after rapeing the girl in the hospital ? as we saw his father in a home and the bad guy walking out to the car. when the soil was thown in he spat in the grave. ?so I take it, this was the one buried.

Well done Shelly, I am soooooooo proud of you love. You have got some will power and stuck to your guns. Put the signs up all over the house, and on all the doors.
Rita, Rose is now whole again, with all her faculties working again. When she was younger, she would not have wished to end up how she did, bless her.

Morning from a grey old London. Gonna be showery this afternoon too. Oh joy. lol
Rita, Exile. Tom was a good guy, just trying to find out the truth about his father. He was just confused with all the mystery surrounding his father, and the fact that he was sleeping with his best friends' wife. lol
The care worker in the Home was the one who had died. Toms' natural father. So although he died, and Tom attended the funeral, he did spit into the grave. I though that was quite a nasty touch to be honest.
We never did find out if Sam colluded with the Home as the care worker suggested, but we were led to believe that he was being left in respite care.
Confused? Nah me neither.
Hope everyone is fit and well. Pleased Max is recovering Jean.
Take care. See you later.

Morning All,
Thanks for the breakfast Jean. Max will obviously take a wee while to get his confidence back. Good to see he is on the mend though.
Cloudy here this morning, rain is forecast. Of course it is I watered the garden last night.
Gonna potter about again. This strapping on my leg is a bl**dy nuisance but all going well it will be off on Friday Then it will be full cartwheels down the drive again. I could act the invalid and have Mrs Stephen massage it daily for me from my toe to the top. He he he ! Then she would pan me with the brush I bet.
Have a good day ya all.
Linda , Where is all the smoked salmon ?

Morning all, it's dull and a bit nippy here today but hopefully it'll get better as the day goes on.
Poor Max must be nervous about going outside now. I just don't understand how people can be so cruel towards animals. The annoying thing is that those 2 lads will probably just get a talking to and then be sent on a day trip to a theme park.
I hope your leg will be OK when the strapping comes off Stephen, a week doesn't seem very long for it to be strapped up.

Pauline,
They may strap it back up again. I hope not as I'm off to my nieces villa in Majorca next Friday for a long weekend. Anyway I feel I need to be attending to some muscular work with it as it wont be getting much blood circulation being strapped up. It will just get weaker the longer I don't use it properly.
And that massage I mentioned seems like a good ploy !!!!!!!!!! ROFL

morning everyone. Maddie thanks for that, I did think the same as you have told me but it was a bit confusing and as I missed that bit I wondered why he spat in the grave. they didnt make it very clear who it was they were burying.?
Jean . Max will be nervous about going out for a while ,he will recall what happened to him bless him. time heals so they say ?
So your the reason we are expecting Rain Stephen ? watering your garden ? you should have left it , mind you I bet the plants enjoyed it.? a friend was washing her car onTuesday with the hose so she walked across the car park and water my front graden. said she might as well as she had the hose all connected.now my mini roses are coming into bud one salmon pink the other white. we do need rain it will stop all these fires burning up our lovely forests people should take care dropping dog ends on the ground and youths starting fires for a joke. A Mans life isnt a joke I wish their parents would drum that into them. so your going on a long week end break well Stphen hope you get good w eather and have a good rest and enjoy the change. I have never been to Spain. I have been to many places in and around Europe many times but never Spain. mostly France, Italy and Germany. .

Morning All,
Stevey......don't go playing footie on Friday and showing off !!
I'm off to the audiologist dept this morning as Stepmother has fiddled around with her hearing aid and broken it ......but when I rang the dept yesterday I got a snotty young bossy lady telling me that we would have to wait two weeks !!!!! Well I went into one..LOL..... I said NO WAY I have a 97yr lady here with no hearing and your telling me that she has to wait 2weeks !! So I asked for the boss of the department and guess what ! yes got an appointment this morning......Now its also a private audiologist working for the NH that when the last government put all excess patients into private care. Now I think that's bad as if you go to the NH audiologist here in Plymouth they will see you any day without an appointment all you have to do is wait with a number to be seen. I did say to this private one I'll get her transferred to the NH dept if that's how long she would have to wait next time......but of course they don't want that as they would loose money from the government with a lost patient.. Thats why they gave in ....and gave us an appointment today.
Well I'm off my soap box now and breathing normally...LOL
So I'm off now ......back later.
