Hello everyone, hope you have had a good day.
Marilyn, so sorry to read about Pete, you must both have been so disappointed, I hope the op goes well tomorrow, and please take care of yourself, you will need lots of energy to nurse him when he comes home.
Rita, what a lovely butterfly, how did you get the picture on here.
Hope everyone who has been feeling poorly is now feeling better.

Will say good night God bless now as I'm going to be out for a while.
May you all have a peaceful night and sleep well.

Evening everyone.
Oh Marilyn poor Pete, he had got himself so psyched (sp) up, thinking it was all going to be over by now, but he has got to go through it all again tomorrow big time bless him.
I hope it all goes well for him. It's a shame, he starved himself for today's surgery, and now he has got to undergo the process again.

I am loving your butterfly Rita, it helps to cheer the page up.

Maddie, are you going with Mr K tomorrow. I hope they can sort some kind of treatment out for him.
My daughter has accupuncture, injections, tablets, and laser treatment for her Rheumatoid Arthritus
There times when she can't bend her knees at all, and has to rest in bed for the day, till the swelling goes down.
So I can fully understand how much Mr K is suffering,especially as he is used to being so active.

I know that Stevie said they were going away for a few days sunshine, but he didn't say how many days.
Lets hope they are enjoying themselves, and that Stephen doesn't get arrested for streaking down the beach with "Fluffy Paws" in tow.

Shelly hows your pooey sicky lot doing today. I hope it has started to clear
from the family now, and that the local supermarket don't run out of loo rolls and disinfectant. LOL

Morning all, the weather can't decide what to do today, we've got sunshine, rain, clouds and wind............ all at the same time.

Lovely breakfast as usual Jean, keeps us all going.

Nice to see you back Stephen, hope you had a lovely time........... without your toolbox!

Marilyn, that was a blow for Pete, and for you as well. I hope the operation goes well and he gets over it quickly. You'll have to run around after him a bit when he gets home.......... but not too much though - don't want to spoil him. :-)

Well done Rita, I knew you could do it, the butterfly looks much better than the blue/grey man. When you want to change it for a new picture, you'll have to do exactly the same thing again. What you have to do first is get the picture you want to use and put it in the same file as the butterfly.

Fingers crossed for Maddie's K. They'll have to do something for him, Maddie, they can't leave him like that.

Dermot, you're coming up with some little gems.

I can't see Shelly's name, I hope she hasn't got that bug that the rest of her family have.

~~~~~~~~~~~~ to everyone.
Good Morning Everyone, and I hope everything goes OK for Pete Marilyn.
Breakfast looks good Jean, I'll try a little of everything.
Hope you had a good trip Stephen, got plenty of sunshine.
and I hope everyone else who has been unwell this week is feeling better.
I woke up deaf in my left ear this morning, so put some Otex drops in, it should help.
Have a great day
Rita, All you need now is to change your name to 'Madame Butterfly'
Our dear friend Madge is still hanging on. Dougie her Hubby gave me an update a few minutes ago. At least we will be home when the end comes for her. Sad but it's inevitable.
What a bunch you are. Colds, Flu, Operations, bad knees, etc etc.
It reads like an episode from 'Casualty'.
My Nieces place in Majorca is fantastic. Out in the hills, great views, stunning house and swimming pool. Uncle Stephen, as usual, lasted about 24hrs before getting the toolbox out and doing some maintenance work. Going to go out at some point and demolish an old Steading thats on the property and build a large storage shed for her Outdoor Furniture. I'll enjoy that.........a working holiday.
Plundering through the mountain of washing that my dear Lady Stephen managed to accumulate for a weekend away.. I will own up to only a 'tiny' drop of it. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Missed my Friendly friends and all the gossip. :-) :-) :-) :-)
Stephen we missed you, I thought perhaps you liked it out there so much you had decided to emigrate ?
Pauline I will have to watch that Stephen does not come with his butterfly net and grab me and put me in his butterfly case on display.
I did the washing this morning all dry and now put away in drawers and wardrobe.
I got a call from my dentist this morning two people cancelled would I like to go this afternoon at 2.30 instead of next wednesday so I will be out this afternoon. I dont like to go but might as well go early .
I am going to have my cup of tea now.
Thank you for your help Pauline I would never have been able to attach the butterfly without your instructions.
Rita Report 18 May 2011 16:10
I am back from the dentist three fillings it cost me £30 my friends are amazed they have all paid more at other dentists.
I called into the chemist and got my blood pressure tabels before coming home .
I think we are in for a storm it is very humid and the sky is a funny colour.
I have trouble with my ears at the moment once again the noise of the drill did that. never mind.
Ryan had his little operation they removed the bag and took the Catherter out to find he could not pass water so they are putting it all back, poor little mite is so fed up with it all., he has certainly been through the wars these last few mnoths. so I am waiting to see what the intend to do next. ?
I wonder how Pete is ? I bet he will feel sore and in pain.they put me on morphin when I had mine done. I expect marilyn is at the hospital. she will find it strange being at home on her own.
I am glad he has got that all over and done with. it will take him a time to get his self back to normal, I had a morphin drip when I was in hospital boy was I pleases I had that,. my worst time was when they got me up the next day to sit in a chair.
I think they keep you in for five days I was in for 10 but it took me 6 months to feel able to get about. Poor Pete I do feel for him.
Ryan came out of hospital late this afternoon with his Mum who has been staying in there with him. they decided not to put the cathurter back and left the bag off, as he is manageing his self but they said they dont know if he will have to go back in. I said to my daughter. they want to make their minds up what they are doing
Megan cried when she saw her Mum and brother. she has been looking after her little brother who is 2 as her Dad is ill with a virus Brett is there but felt so bad,
