So quiet on here tonight :-(
Tried to do some research with no luck.
If anyone is bored I'm looking for a marriage between Anna Johnston born 26th july 1889 and William Hamilton born c1884. Marriage would have been in Belfast. Anna was the daughter of Isabella (nee McCaughey) and Hugh Johnston and she was still single and living at home in 1911. They were probably presbyterian. Have tried all the usual sites with no luck so if anyone can find anything I'd be chuffed to bits.
Will say goodnight to all,
<3 <3 <3

Morning.

No Jean .....no breackies...just as well we have to give her some mornings in bed ;-)

Cath ......I did try last night to find a marriage for your Anna Johnston do you think she may have been married in another surname ..like married before ?
there were loads of William Hamilton marriage in Belfast & Antrim... so was wondering also if Anna was just a another name for her ..have you got her birth or Baptism record ?

The Master is OK today......wants to start bossing me around, but I'm having none of that ..LOL :O
He is not a happy bunny as he cant have his shower , has to keep his wound dry, so I'll have to give him a wash with the shower head standing up in the bath !! :S hmm should be fun LOL.

Shelly ...have you been clear of ciggies ? and how about your daughter ?

Rita.... I watched that family reunion last night and cried for that dad in Australia , how emotional was that !!

Where's Stevey gone ?

Going for my bath...
:-(

Edit ...been looking at my message and I did ask a LOT of Questions :P

Ah Goody !

Marilyns gone for her bath......better get the binoculars out and get up the tree before I'm too late..... :D :D :D :D :D ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Bright and breezy here with some showers.

Our dear friend Madge was not with us last night, no communication, she is stll hanging in, poor soul. It's so distressing to see her struggle to leave this world. God will take her in his own good time.

Marilyn, Look after Pete, you know we men love to be pampered.
Hope he feels better soon.

Dame Shelly is giving the toilet seat a rest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Catch you later.

Hi everybody.

Stephen, my thoughts are with Madge and her family and friends, it's an awful time for everyone.

Sally, you look like you've got a purple halo, makes you look angelic. I tried to put a smile in here but it's gone to the bottom of the page instead!!

Marilyn, pleased to hear Pete's back home, hope he isn't in too much pain. You have to let him be boss for at least a week, or pretend to let him be boss. :D

Rita, what plants did you buy yesterday?

Wonder if Mo won at the darts last night.

Can't see Maddie's name on yet, come on Maddie - we're waiting to hear what happened with Kevin.

Don't forget to send us some photos of the Christening Shelly.

Agatha, my husband has a lot of trouble with his ears, he keeps going deaf in his right ear. The doctor gives him some drops to put in and it clears up after a few days.

Pat, I don't think I've heard that song before, I might Google it and have a listen.

Haven't got time to write anymore just yet so............

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ to Cath, Yvonne, Jean, Dermot and Linda if she's back.
I have been to the doctors, and he gave me sodium bicarbonate ear drops and I have to have the ear syringed next wednesday, I am dredding it, he says its completely chocca block with wax.
If he's bossing you about Marilyn, then he feels better, he deserves fussing up after an operation though, tell him I hope he gets well soon.
Madge is holding on Stephen, people don't go until they are ready, they never do, but that shows they have a strong spirit.
Have a good friday everyone
Hi Pauline
I brought a white Geranium I forgotten what it is called.?
I also brought two Fushsia and a big Impatiens. they are all in large pots. I shall have to buy some more. I have not put them in the ground yet. as I lost the interent this morning so I closed it down and went and did some shopping in Waitrose. I was so surprised a lot of the ladies seem to have gone and there were so many young men working there. I said to the one on the till what a change to see so many young men working
.
I did have ago at the prices of two items the ices cornets I brought on Wednesday were £!.55 they were up £1.99 I thought that was bad pushing the price up that much.
I didnt buy I left it. can get them cheaper other places.or go without.
Agatha
I am pleased you got something for your ears I did mine both one cleared itself after I had used the warm olive oil . but the was really bad I didnt like the syringeng as I had ear trouble anyway.
Marilyn has Pete got metal clips or those that desolve. ?
Stephen I hope your washing was whiter than white and you didnt put any of Mrs Stephens red underwear in with the whites.?
Hi all.
Rita..... they have glued his wound and also glued where they put the torch in to have a look first :S
Thats why he cant let hot water near it as it would melt it...ugghh sounds like something from outer space doesn't it LOL
Did anyone watch last night the father that was reunited with his son,? well I was in tears big time....how sad was that that his mother told him to say to his dad I don't want to see you anymore ... :S Mind you one don't really know the full story.
Pete is being good and courteous to me without the demand orders..LOL So I am spoiling him carefully ...not too much ...LOL
Sally ...what have you got on your shoulder ? look like a small raccoon..LOL
Back to the Master....
Hello Stevey :D
Hi everyone,
After what I said about Raplh Mctell yesterday, I've now got a ticket to see him in concert. I'm looking forward to that.
I didn't think it was that warm today! Come back summer.
I didn't watch the family programme last night. I avoid programmes like that.
Hope your ears ok Agatha.
Have a good evening <3
Evening everyone,
its been a gorgeous sunny day.
Marilyn glad Pete is behaving himself, get well wishes for him :-) Anna was not married before and I don't know much else about her, she was often referred to as Annie although in my family as I have found that counts for nothing!! Why oh why name your child one thing and call it another, Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Stephen I hope your friend is not in pain and can slip away peacefully, it must be terrible for her family, my thoughts are with them.
Agatha I hope the drops make your ear more comfortable.
I want to try and get on with some research but don't know if my heart is in it tonight, I'm hitting so many brick walls it gets a bit disheartening.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~to all, I still get the names all mixed up :S

Marilyn.
I have never heard of them glueing a insertion like that ? what happens to the glue does it go ?or do they have to remove it ? I had metal clips 25 in my tummy where they did my gall-bladder operation
. I didnt know tiill four weeks after when I had to go back to the hospital to see my consultant.(a lovely Irish man ) he told me, I nearly ruined his career. it appears I started to come round before he had finished the operartion they were just over halfway.
He said he nearly had a heart attack.

Pauline I had a call from a Fireman this afternoon we chatted away on the telephone they are going to come on Monday in the evening to fit me a new fire alarm and check everything. he said I better warm you as we will be there in the fire engine. so dont worry. as they are on call. I said I know you could get a shout anytime. and told him two of my cousins were in the frie service. and I had two friends in Ealing who had been in the fire service. as well as three in Norfolk one sends me l emails once a week to see how I am getting on.? I have sorted out one of my large photos I took of the Firemens Memorial in Lodon with the poppy wreaths around it is mounted in a white carboard frame. with two descriptions of why it was errect and when .

I always take photos or memorials when I go away and I have many from London. I did some when I lived in Norfolk and was staying in London for two weeks. and gave them to some firemen I knew.they didnt even know anything about it. I am proud of the photo it was one of my best.

Pauline I put my plants in this afternoon I need to get some more next week.

Stephen, I heard or read somewhere that people who are dying and have family sitting with them often seem to wait until the family leave the room before popping off! Perhaps that is what Madge is doing, waiting for them to get out of there so she can leave without them seeing her going.

Huia.

Hi All
Will have to read back later
Just to let you know that we are back from our lovely break in the Highlands of Scotland.
The weather was very kind to us Stephen. Hope you had a good break too.
We were based in Carrbridge and had 4 train trips. One up the Cairngorms by The Furnicular Railway. One from Fort William to Mallaig. One from Aviemore, the last from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Overnight there was snow and it was lying on the mountains this morning.
We had some free time in Edinburgh today and really enjoyed visiting the museum and seeing some beautiful paintings.

I'll try to get back on tomorrow

Linda :-) <3
