Hi all. Thank god Pete is done and dusted now Marilyn. It must be such a relief for you, knowing that it's over. Now you can get some rest, he is in the best hands possible, so get a good nights sleep, ready to be on the hop tomorrow when you go and see him.
Bless little Ryan, Rita, he has been through the a lot lately.((((((((((HUGS))))))) for him. That £30.00 for your three fillings was good Rita. Our dentist were charging £45.00, but it has gone up again now.
Shelly, I bet your BTM feels like it's on fire. Have you got a blow up swimming ring you could sit on, so that your BTM is raised up from your chair. :D :D :D Hope the ead ache goes away soon. :P :P :P
Good to see you back Stevie boy, we missed your wit. Yep I did say wit, and not @hit.
Maddie, how did K get on at the hospital today?

Have you had a busy day at work today.? I am going to be watching 24hours in A+E at nine. It's in Kings College Hospital. I want to see if things have changed there, since my OH was in there back in 2002.

Pleased the op went well Marilyn, you do know he's going to take advantage of this when he gets home don't you? He's going to sit back and have you running all over, let him get away with it for a couple of weeks, he deserves it. :-) :-)
Shelly, look on the bright side............ at least you won't have put any weight on this last week. :D
Mo, that's a really unfair voting system they have for the baby comp. All the ones that were in it before Lilly - had more chances of getting votes because it was open to everyone. I don't see how putting the votes through Facebook will stop the cheating.
Rita, your family never seem to have a break from bad luck, it's always one thing after another. I hope Ryan will be alright and not have any more bother. It brought a lump to my throat thinking of little Megan bursting into tears when she saw her mam.
Maddie, how did it go with K?

Morning all
Jean I had the hot roll lovely it was too with fresh butter. Pauline I cried when my daughter told me. Megan missed her Mum so much Stacey tends to stay with the little one when they are in hospital. Megan is like a mother hen she is always looking at the two brothers and tries mothering them. I do hope he does not have to go in again. I dont know what they will do when Stacey goes into hospital she has a cyst the size of a grapefruit so they have told her but she has to have another scan. and they are keeping her waiting. whatever has happened to the NHS If your 80 or other they dont seem to bother if your the type of person who has had lots of illnesses and spent months in hospital they tend to put you at the bottom of the list.as if a person can stop his orher self being ill.. Dermot I said on your thread what I think of Kenneth Clarke's remarks on rape. he should be thrown out of his job we dont need people like him in the government. little upstart. It is because of people like him the Judges dont give big enough sentances to people who commit Rape and other terrible crimes. the saying its a mans world is often true in certain cases.
Ths sun is out this morning I wonder if it will stay. ?I want to get the bus to Home Base and get some plants for the garden.

Marilyn I hope you find Pete better this morning than yesterday. good job he has his old slippers with him, they must have streghted a bit so he cannot run after nurses on the ward. . The floor are usually a bit shiny. lol
Shelly have you tired an old remidy for your tummy ache.. It does work in most cases that is" lemonade with a small pinch of salt in." I suffered terrible with that once when I was in Norfolk and my Doctor who beleived in naturall remedies as well. and he told me this and it worked I always do this if I have a tummy upset. It might pay you to try. I hope your soon be feeling better.

Evening everyone, It never ceases to amze me how things happen........ I work around the corner from the Barnfield Theatreand accasionally you can hear music etc coming from the theatre. I googled the theatre to see what was happening. I never did find out what was happening this afternoon but having clicked on the website i found out the Ralphn McTell is coming to here.I've seen this man twice, once in 1977 and again in 1978! One song I remember Ralph sing was "Weather the Storm" I liked the words.
here they are. Weather The Storm
So you're finally over it now. You thought you wouldn't make it, But I knew you would somehow. I guess I knew you could make it in the end And it's good to have you round again old friend.
You weather the storm, You weather the storm. You weather the storm, And you come up smiling in the end.
So, you're over all the disappointments now. You thought you wouldn't make it, But I knew you would somehow. Maybe it still hurts to think of bad times that you spent, But it's over, and you're back again old friend.
Chorus
Into every life, a little rain must fall, And for sure it poured down on you. An umbrella's no good in a hurricane, But just like the sun in the end you come shining through.
Chorus
So, you see, it's getting better now, You look a little battered, But we all do anyhow. When the break is mended it can be stronger than before. Don't go round butting doors or punching walls.

Evening all, finally got some time to myself, its been a hectic day in this house :P Marilyn glad Pete is coming home already, that must mean he's doing well. :-) Patricia I like that song, the lyrics are lovely. Dermot, Ken Clarke is a complete and utter moron. He suffers from "foot in mouth" disease. I happen to know a rape victim who never got justice and the damage caused to her and her family was heartbreaking. There is no excusing rape ever. Hey Shelly hope the scoots have cleared up and you're feeling better, of course the OH will have it worse than you, lol lol. BIG (((((((hugs))))))) for little Ryan and his family. Hello to everyone else,
Cath xx
