we do not have a Wikinsons here or a Tescos our Sainsburys did not have them. neither did the super drug stores.perhaps it is only Surrey and the shop have sold out so the other shops are being raided by people wanting to buy them.? it is so strange.

Rita Report 2 Jun 2011 14:52

This was not my morning. the bus was crowded going into town, full of Mums with their children, I counted four pushchairs on the bus and there was standing room only. it appears one bus was taken off..
a young woman with her little girl on the seat called to me as I went to get off the bus because there was no way I could stand all the way to Woking.she put the little girl on her lap so I could have the seat.
coming back they have road works so half the road is blocked off, this is the only road buses and cars can get to and from the town a couple of large lorries were doing a deleivery to Aldi's so they had buses and cars and lorries lined up behind them, as they could not pass the otherside of the road I counted 11 buses stationary unable to move on the side coming up there was so many lorries and buses and it got to the stage they could only pass two at a time lots of cars did a quick three point turn in the road when something made space and cleared off. two police officers came and told the lorries they had to move which they did the traffic could flow then.accept due to the traffic lights taking ten minutes to change we had a full road again. it took me half an hour to get home on an 8 minute journey. I felt so sorry for the bus drivers.

Hi there everyone.
Good grief I couldn't believe how many e.mails I had, everyone had gone crazy all of a sudden. Mind you, it's great to receive them, and gives me a good giggle.

Rita our Tes*o's have got loads of air fresheners. The folks of Surrey must have had a good old buy up, for the local supermarkets to have run out.
Lets hope that the lorries that were causing the hold ups, were delivering to your supermarket, and that they are back on the shelves soon.

Linda, do you think perhaps your blood sugar levels had dropped this morning, causing your giddiness. Especially as it cleared up after you had eaten something.
I hope you have been taking it easy today, and not overdoing the decorating.
That can wait for another day love.

I am at darts tonight, so if I am not around you will know why.

The engineer came to sort my washing machine out today. The lock on the door had lost it's spring, so that had to be changed. Whilst he was at it, he changed the rubber innards of the door seal, so now my machine looks like brand new again. ye ha, it does sometimes pay to take out the insurances on white goods for the kitchen.

Take care everyone. Luv Mo

Evening Everyone.

Hope you are all well.

Pleased you liked my tripe-hound. The kids named her Charlie, gawd knows why. :-D

Hope everything went well Stephen, and thank you for the emails.

Really hot here today, pity I missed it all. I could see everyone walking past in t-shirts. Really, the things you see when you haven't got your gun. Does anyone look at themselves in a mirror before they go out any more?

If your clothes are too tight. Buy a size bigger, where is the problem?

See you later.

Hi everyone
Maddie how right you are about some of the clothes people are wearing . I tried to get a long waist slip for underneath my thin skirts. I couldnt get one. I was looked at as old fashion when I asked in the shops.while on my way I noticed a lot of old and young people wearing long thin skirts and could see their knickers and most and their legs no wonder I am having a job getting a cotton waist slip. looks like I will have to wear the skirts and show my drawers.through the material.

Sallie I dont go into Aldis it is right on the corner of a busy road and it takes me ages to cross that road. you cannot see traffic coming around on the left hand side where there is a sharp bend.

I have been watching aload of rubbish tonight should have switched the programme off Britians Got talent there were a couple of good enterainers but the rest were really not worth watching.

Good Morning All.

Lovely sunny morning again. Hope everyone is well.

Rita, you are more modern in your approach than I. You call it a slip, I still call it a petticoat. M and S. do some, but they are not cheap.

You would have laughed yesterday. But it is a cautionary tale.

A lady was walking past in white linen trousers. She was obviously wearing a thong [Stephens favourite] and you could see cheeks of her botty VERY clearly. Nice. ;-)

Have a good day all.

See you later.

Morning Jean and others as they rise :-D
How is Max doing now Jean? Hope he's recovered.
Gorgeous start to the day here as well, long may it last.
Food shopping today :-P What a chore! I loathe bringing it all home and unpacking it, only to see it disappearing as quick as I put it away, lol.
Finally found some blinds for my kitchen on ebay. Not quite what I wanted but near enough, the alternative was having them tailor made and prices for the big window were ridiculous. Can't wait for them to arrive and get them up as old ones are spoiling 'the look'.
Hope you are all well this fine day,

Cath xx
