Morning All Only had a cup of tea this morning still feeling odd. So have made an appointment to see the Dr at noon. It seems I get giddy when in bed laying on my left side only, the side I have tendonitis. Then I feel nauseous. Hubby home for the next 4 days, so he can look after me.
Will let you know how I get on

Linda yours could be an ear infection if your giddy on one side that happened to me I am unlucky that I have very high blood pressure my notes say I suffer from Hypertension when going into hospital they have always take me in the day before even if it is a day surgery because of it..
Morning Jean thanks for the breakfast. I felt too lazy to cook for myself.this morning.
Maddie I call them both slips and petticoat the slips I call them when they are waist ones the Petticoats are usually the whole ones used with a dress. I have three Nylon ones I have had for years, they still look like new but I wanted cotton ones. I have not got a M&S near me I have to go into Guildford if I need to shop at M&S which takes about 3/4 hour on the bus.
I will see if I can get one when I go to Norfolk in two weeks time. I know they will be dear. but they will last along time. you speaking of the white trousers I notice alot of women and girls wearing throngs. I often wonder if they realise people can see what they are wearing.through their trousers or shorts.

Hi All Well seen the Dr she diagnosed labyrinthitis and has given me tablets to control the nausea. I hope they work. While there she also took my blood pressure, it was quite high so now I have to go back for the next 2 Fridays to get that checked. Been shopping with hubby, spent a fortune on food as always nowadays. But Marilyn you would be pleased with me as I sneaked in 2 tops while hubby was looking the other way !!!LOL One is pink plaid, cowgirl type? and the other just a plain white tee shirt. Sainsburys has 25% off til Monday and the check shirt was already one third off too.
Going to sit in the garden now and relax
Linda :-) <3

Hi Linda,
Thats awful my brother had that only a few weeks ago and also had it a few months ago and had a lot of nausea with it... Wonder why she didn't give you antibiotics as well, as I'm sure its an infection of the inner ear. Just take it easy as it might come back .......well not that I'm saying it will but its such sudden the attack as was with my brother.
Soooooo glad you treated yourself with tops!! just tell OH that you have had them ages ;-)
I missed M&S sales last week .....Oh how did I do that ? My friend told me yesterday about the sales Uggggghhh :-S
Well off to get ready for the docs.....

Linda that is what I have been having. I have had it two months now. I was given little tablets think they were called Stepsills I kept falling about I didnt go right over but was so giddy and felt so sick. I still have it that is what is making my tinitus worse.. I have had two boxes of the tablets I have run out now. I dont want to go to the Doctors again and tell her. this Tuesday I have my check up at The Royal Surrey I have to see my cancer consultant. my son has altered his hours so he can take me. I wont know if it has grown because I didnt get the scan but I have to have three blood test done.and see Professor Panda at 2 0.clock. I dont think he will be happy I didnt get the scan because of a mix up at the hospital.so I expect he will arrange another one.

I didnt have to have them ? but they found a box of 12. so I had two lilly of the valley smellies. getting special treatment. Hi Marilyn and Rita Good luck at the Drs Marilyn. I have reading in the garden not doing much. Watered the tomatoes in the greenhouse, they were bone dry.
Rita I would ask again at the dr if you are still suffering, the tablets I have areProchlorperazine 2 or 3 times a day.
Glad you got your smellies I got a lavender solid gel type in Sainsburys this morning as my sense and spray one was so expensive and they didn't have the perfume I like anyway.
What a beautiful day it is today. Nice to just relax and not be rushing around though I have plenty to do
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon everyone
Linda :-) <3

Oh I've had fun & games today.....
I planted my geraniums next thing I know the bluudy pheasants were digging then up !!....So there was I chasing them away , one got into my barn and landed on the window seat, Oh I wish I had my camera at hand , Pete was terrified of picking it up then I went for a towel to put on its head by that time Pete had plucked it !!!!!!!, Feathers all around the place. I said how come the feathers all came out , he said I held it and all it wanted to do was escape from my clutch ..LOL
So although its had a shave it was still wanting to destroy my plants , next thing I'm in the field , shooing them away. :-S Bet they are back tomorrow the little blighter's there only good to eat ..LOL
Drs OK just a diabetic check up .....sticking pins in me feet to see if I could feel them...everything else blood pressure., weight , cholesterol and general maintenance .....needless to say I passed :-D

Apologies if you have seen this before - but, it is Friday whatever that means.
On the first day, God created the dog and said: 'Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.'
The dog said: 'That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?'
So God agreed.
On the second day, God created the monkey and said: 'Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span.'
The monkey said: 'Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the Dog did?'
And God agreed.
On the third day, God created the cow and said: 'You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years.'
The cow said: 'That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?'
And God agreed again.
On the fourth day, God created humans and said: 'Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years.'
But the human said: 'Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?'
'Okay,' said God, 'You asked for it.'
So that is why for our first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.
Life has now been explained to you. There is no need to thank me for this valuable information. I'm doing it as a public service.

I haven't heard that one Dermot, don't think I did it right anyway........ I didn't get 20 years to just eat, sleep and enjoy myself............ think I might have done that the first 10 years.
Anyway, is it safe to come on this thread? I don't want to catch that labyrinthitis - or whatever it is. I thought it was some kind of maze, so I had to google it.
Edit: I ended that a bit abruptly because the phone rang.
Hope you're soon feeling a little better Linda, just as well you didn't go up those ladders again.
Marilyn, glad you passed your maintenance test, I didn't pass mine last week. Those pheasants just don't like you do they?

Good grief Pauline I am A MAZED you don't know what Labryrinthitus is, i'm going round in circles trying to find out myself what it's all about. I remember Rita telling us that that was what she was suffering from as well.
Pat dont encourage our Marilyn to have another G+T, she doesn't need much encouragement as it is. LOL But it is good news when we hear that our friends have got on o.k at their doctors. Well done Maz....
Maddie, make sure you slap the suntan cream on tomorrow, when you go out and about. Your poor body has been shut away in the shade for so long now, it will have a shock when it feels the sun on it. ;-)
I reckon Shelly has eaten so much cake, and thats why we haven't seen much of her, she's probably flat out on the sofa, bloated from cake. :-) AND we didn't get a piece of it either, tut tut.
I hope you feel better tomorrow Linda.
