I read the thread............... but then had to do something, so now I can't remember what was said.
Shelly, your daughter's strawberries are late if they're still in flower. It's colder up here and mine are all in fruit............ some red, some still green.
Yes, Maddie, that's where I was yesterday, just a bit further along from where you were staying. It's always cold down there.......... it's the wind that comes off that bloody North Sea. Shame really because it's a lovely beach.
Bet the others didn't know you were bilingual.
Just so everybody knows where Maddie was staying...... this is Seaburn in September...

Edit: It gets really bad in winter.

Question included in a questionnaire I was asked to complete many years ago at a works's awayday:-
'Any businessman would be foolish to fool around with his secretary. However, if it's sombody else's secretary, that's fine'.
Opinions?

Pauline $(*-*)$ - We were asked for our 'Opinions' on the statement.
Testing our inadequate psychological minds I suppose - a waste of time, if you ask me!

Good Evening,
Stephen it sounds like you have two 20 years old on the go. Tuts. ;-)
Hello Pauline, yes I didn't know I was bilingual either. So I better rever to type.
Cor blimey guvnor, its taters in the mould dern ere, the toad and frog is coming down, and its time ter put up me gamp. :-D
Coughs politely, and puts on posh voice.
I got a really good bargain at work today, I'm so pleased with myself. Someone [not me] over-ordered the flowers over the weekend. So - I managed to bag myself a 20quid bouquet for one pound. :-)
Roses, carnations, foliage. In various shades of pink, red, yellow and orange. Really pretty, I have managed to split them over two vases. I am dead chuffed. :-)
Will be tidying up soon for SIL coming, so will love ya and leave ya for now.

It's so damp here I have resorted to putting the Central Heating on.
As usual with such moisture laden air it seems to seep right into your bones. Give me real hard frost any day.
Right.....back to the settee......get the feet up/
Is this how a sloth feels ?

Hi Gang, When will this rain and wind go away :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( Better not rain tomorrow night when I do charity walk, don't fancy trekking along in the wet. Been a busy bee today and not had much time to myself so hoping for a bit of time to do some research tomorrow and add a few bits to my tree. Gypsy is waiting for her bedtime walk so better take her, hope everyone is well,

The weather forecast for today (for my area) was dry and sunny until noon, and then heavy rain until Sunday. I decided to work in the garden until the rain came................ I was there from early morning until early evening and no sign of rain. We had a few drops about half an hour ago (10.30pm) and that was it.
I'm wondering if the BBC actually know where the North East is.
Hope it stays dry for you Cath, take no notice of the forecast!
Good advice Stephen, but a bit late......... I'd already given the wrong answer to the question........... :-D
Maddie, the only bit I didn't get was............ 'its taters in the mould'. Oh, I've just realized.............. 'cold!!' I must be bilingual as well. :-)
Marilyn, are you seriously suggesting our Stephen is past his best? How could you say such a thing?

Morning All !
Hope I don't have a night like that for a long time. I decided to relax and put the feet up. I felt ten times worse thatn when I put in some hard graft. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(
Those two 'twenty year olds' went away with big smiles on their faces. ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) It must have been the big tip I gave them ROFL :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
Marilyn.......Passed it.......this old Fiddle still plays a grand tune..
It might be Bethovens 'Unfinished Symphony' but it still gets played. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
Pauline.....Thanks for your support on that one, I'm glad someone appreciates the ' Antiques Roadshow'
Today I will be more constructive. No more Sloth like antics from me :-) :-)
Maddie......not a lot to beat local dialect......pity it has to be replaced with the 'Queens English' .....whatever that is :-S :-S :-S :-S
Have a good day ya all !
Keep safe, keep happy, keep smiling :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Morning All, grey again.
So only me and you and the chickens up so far Stephen. :-)
Shame on you. Tuts. :-0
Just gonna take a trip down to the Supermarket in a mo to get a last few things for SIL visit today. Got some lovely strawberries yesterday, so will have them with meringue and cream. Don't know what we will be having for dinner yet, just keep my eyes peeled for something nice.
The flowers are glorious, I do so love having cut flowers in the house, but do not always buy them cos they are so expensive. A decent bunch is no far short of a tenner, and I get very mean with myself, thinking of what else I could spend the money on. :-(
Have a good day each. Hope you all slept well.
See you when I can pop back.

Morning all and thanks for still keeping my parents in your thoughts. Dad had the angiogram yesterday. It has been decided that they will try medication to help his problem? They hope to get him home next week. Mum is still in the respite hospital.
I am getting the dizzyness again, on the last couple of tablets. Oh dear. Blood pressure was read first on an automatic machine and sky high !!! Then an old fashioned one and much the same as Monday 154/80 so OK. Really bad night, slept poorly and much room spinning. I have an appointment to see the same Dr but not til 2 weeks, so might have to phone Monday and see if I can get an appointment with somebody else. If nothing else I will need more tablets. I was up at 5:00 this morning with hubby as I couldn't lay any longer but I have dozed on the sofa. Won't be doing much today methinks. Waiting for the washing to dry that got soaked yesterday.
Have a good day everyone
Mo thanks for the photo they are all bonny girls(yourself included !! )
