Hi there everyone.
I am still wearing my mask, I don't want you all catching my germs.

Ahhhh Shelly, you have done so well, what made you have that first cig in all this time. You must have been stressed about something. Still I'm sure you can carry on you are so strong willed.
I just wish I had your strength, so that I could join you.

Rita it's good to hear they have sorted out your travel arrangements for you.
Enjoy the strawberry tea on thursday love.

Agatha, please send the nice weather this way, it's been awful here again.

Cath thanks for thinking of me, I don't feel quite as bad today. The only problem now, is that Roly has started to go down with it as well.
He has been taking good care of me over the last couple of days, so it lokos like my nurses outfit will have to come out again, so that I can care for him.

Typical exam questions, or so I'm told:-

1. 'If it snows at the rate of one inch per hour in Edinburgh, how long will it before schools in Tunbridge Wells must close?'

2. 'If Johnny can clear his driveway with a 12" shovel in two hours & Jimmy can clear his with a 14" shovel in one hour & a half, how long will it take them to clear the school playground when the headmaster keeps them both in detention?'

Thought I'd let you all see my lovely Mum for a wee while <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

4ft 10ins but her braw lads didn't meddle with her. She must have worrried sick as she watched us leave to go to foreign parts. She kept a Telegram she received to say that one of her boys was 'Missing in Action' in Korea. 'God will send him home' she would say....and he did.

Kilt back later ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Marilyn,

Your rellie, Henry John Hayward, had a fortunate escape during WW1

He had served on HMS Hampshire a Devonshire Class Cruiser during a period up to June 1915.
The following year she was sunk by a Mine 5th June 1916.
Only 12 of the crew survived out of some 650.

Lord Kitchener of 'Your Country Needs You' fame was killed in the sinking.

The ship was sunk off the Orkney Isles.

Rita,

Loads and Loads of Barrs........all our ancestors had bikes.......they got around a fair bit ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Yes I think we all looked a lot like my mother.

My Dad was the double of James Mason the actor. When I see James Mason in a film it's like watching my dad. My dad had a lovely soft voice and was a great singer.

hi everyone

Belated birthday wishes Pauline

Rita pleased you had a good time in Norfolk

I've been taking son round a few garages looking at cars, seen a couple of possabilities but he's not had much luck getting insurance. I don't know where these insurance companies get their figures from, I know he's only just passed his test and 17 but he's been quoted between 3,000 and 9,000 pounds and the cars he's looking at are only 1,000 puonds

right, had me moan. Hope you are feeling better Mo
