I dont have the luxury of planting in a garden I miss that more than anything along with the walk along the beach mornings and evenings which I really enjoyed doing now I have a garden the with of three paving slabs although we have gardens and lawns the gardners come and do that once a week during the summer-time and once a month during winter but that is to vacumm up the leaves from the grounds. I do look out my bedroom window and see a carpet of bluebells and the smell is lovely, when they have gone the flowering bushes appear and there is a pink Rose with a yellow tip on the end and that flowers all year even when it has been snowing it appears it must like looking in my window.

Hi girls.
Rita,have you got a decent size window ledge,if you have could you manage to have a window box. It would look lovely with little pansies and the like in it.
I am so pleased that all the shrubs I planted last year ,are now showing through the pots.
I cleared all my cats poo out off the pots,but the little monkey has managed to prop her bottom over them again. So it looks like I am going to have to clear them out daily. What a pain,as I hate clearing it up. I have to make sure I have not eaten before doing it. yuk.
Why cant my cat use other peoples gardens. LOL

Hi Girls

Mo the elderly man up stairs who shops for me has hanging baskets on my walls when I came here 7 years ago he said he would take them down I told him to leave them I like to see the flowers he puts in he does lovely flower arrangements in them so I have flowers outside my kitchen and front room windows all the year round.

Shelly I really didnt know you collected information about the cemeterys are they all London and surrounding aeras ? I will have to study the list. it is very helpful to view your list and see if there is any of min e on that list most of close family I have dates and grave numbers but some I dont have one I was looking for was in Watford a catholic one.but I will do a search over the weekend I had hoped to do to today but while I could get out I did it was lovely going into Town next week I have phone calls to make to get transport to the hospital I have 3 I have to go too. and a INR blood test at the doctors plus get the results from my one I had this week.

No I am still up having a cup of Horlicks and dressed in my nighty and dressing gown so guess what my next move will be ?

It seems to have been a long day I suppose going out made it longer as I have to crawl about like a snail I have been writing out my do for next week like phone for transport to hospitals sort some files out and do some looking up that sort of thing look like I am going to have a longweek ahead of me.

still nothing else to do so might as well make the most of it while I can I suppose you and your husband have got to catch up with the different times you have been going though still that wont take long.

now how comes my lot lately all want me to do some think every time i site down at the lappy marilyn that william that died 1917 i thought about it may be posserbly could be

but i do have the 1911 census with sarah his wife she is on her own with gran-son

but whos to say that she may of slit up from him? may be thats why i carnt find an earlyer death

I have been sleeping well just recently but wake with a light headache due to sleeping well I suppose. ? this morning I woke got out of bed thinking it was 8 o'clock silly me I had miss read the clock it was 6 o'clock there was l worried incase I had over slept. do you think it is my age ? or am I silly devil never mind forget I asked that.

It is a lovely day here what has happened to our Friends on Friendly Thread have they all deserted us ? it is not holiday time yet so where are they ?

I have done two lots of washing, now going to put the last lot on the line.

Hi everybody, it was cold this morning when I got up, the heating wasn't working. The engineer has just got it going again, but the sun's out now and it's warm anyway. It was early this morning we needed it on, I've had to turn it off now, it's too warm. Well, at least it'll be working tomorrow morning when we need it.

Marilyn I'm getting worried about you, I've never known you to be up so early on a morning, it's not normal.

Rita, you and Marilyn could have been chatting to each other at 6.30 if you'd known you were both up.

The last cert I sent for hasn't come yet and it's been nearly 3 weeks now.

Think I'll do some gardening today while it's nice outside.

No I am still here wondered what had happened when I logged on and found no one on the thread. ? usually I dont go on much at nights and when I click on the next morning there are lots of little messages f rom one to the other.so I thought I would get in on the chat to fnd no one there.
Marilyn I dont always log on first thing although I am up quiet early now and again I have a late ly in but not very often.

Shelly I bet you were having a fag and a drink to celebrate a win on the gee gee's ? I dont bet on the horses or Dogs or anything like that I hate watching them race around and jump over hedges I always worry they will have an accident and get shot that happened once when I went to a race with my husband they had to shoot the poor horse and they put a screen around it while they shot it I didnt go after that. I dont recall where we were at the time I know it upset me.

What am I going to do today ? no idea take the day as it comes I expect have lots of little things i need to do but nothing really important.

I wont be seeing any of my family my younger son is in France on a fishing holiday my daughter is at home with her husband who has cancer as you know. the eldest son is unable to get out still although his leg is now out of plaster he just cannot wait to get better and back to his job.
