evening everyone
haven't been to seaside for ages, used to go when son was small, went to Walton on the Naze which is up the coast from Soufend, nicer beach and a bit quieter. When I lived in Kent we would go to Margate
When I was little all the family including nanna and grandad went to Seasalter for a week. Nanna and grandad stayed in one caravan and we had one next to that, needless to say it rained most of the time then our caravan roof sprung a leak so my sister and me had to sleep in nanna's caravan. She used to tell us of when we wouldn't go to sleep
Happy days

Hi Yvonne and Elizabeth. Don't worry Elizabeth,I guessed what you meant. It's the heat don't you know,it does affect the fingers when typing, they get stuck on the keys. LOL
Yvonne, Sea Salter has got nothing there now. If I had to go to that part off the coast, I would rather go to Herne-Bay. It's quite nice there now that they have updated it a bit.

Hi Mo and Elizabeth I have been out all day. We ended up in the cotswolds. We went to Cirencester. Had lunch out. Then into Letchlade too Now just back from a local Italian restaurant early celbration for our anniversary next week. Lovely meal. But rather strangely we were the only 2 people in there. Hubby back at work tomorrow so I will have to get used to being on my own all day.
Sleep well

Morning All Hopefully Shelly has gone to bed by now. Did you find those you were searching for? Well as you can guess hubby has gone to work. No I couldn't get back to sleep when he left. Will check th research I'd done and see what 1911 census I now have and see if I need anymore on Sunday when FMP is free again.
Seems bright outside again today. Have a nice day

HELOOOOO
I am back arrived back at 12.40 today I had a job getting in the door as it was piled high with mail, The station at Waterloo was crowed they seem to be off to Wimbledon I caught the Portsmouth train as it did not stop at Wimbledon it stopped at my stop first. I had a lovely time I saw my son in Law in The Royal Marsdon on the thursday he looks well on the way to recovery but it is a big BUT he was allowed home on the Monday the consultants all gather around him and said how he had amazed them at how he had got on. Tuesdaty we drove over to muy daughters and spent the best part of the day with them, he is very white and had many pain killers to take he had 25 stitches in the back and side and 19 in the front so you can see how bad he was and still is. he must not do anything he tries but knows he can not. he goes back to the hospital in two weeks time. he is not eating thought that is the big problem..

Cooeee Rita, good to see you back,we missed you. Is your son in law not eating because he can't,or is it because it hurts him to swallow. Perhaps your daughter could liquidise his food for him,to make it easier to go down the gullet. Wimbledon has a lot to answer for hasn't it. It must be causing lots of hold ups on the transport, for people trying to get to and from work. I am pleased you and your sister had such a good time. I hope you both behaved yourselves, and didn't flirt with to many men.
Linda, how lovely for you to be able to go into the Cotswolds. It's all back to normal at your house now then isn't it. Back to the grindstone for your OH. It's not very nice when you get your sleep disturbed,by the OH getting up. Now that we are retired,we both could have a lie in, but old habits die hard, and we still manage to wake up at the same time we did, when we were working.
Marilyn, will you please keep the noise down. Singing is a no no, I have got a migraine,so keep the flippin noise down will ya. LOL I hope you smothered yourself in sunscreen out in the garden. We don't want you getting burnt to a crisp.
Shelly, why Brighton. It's full of old biddies like me, thats why I wont go there. You should be going to young places, sight seeing all the young bucks out on parade. Come on you are letting the side down. We need a little bit off spice to cheer us up.
Pauline are you still in the garden weeding. Or are you doing a Marilyn and sunbathing.

Afternoon everyone A quiet day today. did some washing which was quickly dry. Put away the toys til next week and pruned some shrubs. Then I did some research and sat in the garden reading, because I could.
Hubby is home and spent most of today in the office, so not a heavy day.
Enjoy the evening
