The loft instaltion thickness went up years ago before that it was thin. I think you get it free if you are over 60 and on benefit. things like that someimes you have to pay the £50 or you did in the past as some people here did. I am ground floor so do not need loft instaltion having no loft makes sense Lol.

I remeber those meters we had two one for shillings and one for pennies I dont recall what the pennies one was for. ?
when I was a small child we had gas mantels in two rooms Dad lite them with a long taper . The Mantels were either side of the large fire place in the front room and in the back sitting room.funny things there were .
