Member Since: March 2008 Posts: 4 590 Send Message	Hi all, I'm back now. Sorry for the rushed message earlier, I wanted to send the photo's on before I started the dinner. I know it sounds silly, but I have no idea who the other child in the photo of myself and my grandmother is. I did not even know that these pics existed, till I had to clear out my mum's things following her death. I had seen the one of myself, with the doll , with me standing on a chair. But oh my lord, when I look at the wedding pics, I feel ancient,and so old fashioned. I wonder why I thought that having dark hair suited me back then. I loved both the sun and snow pictures Marilyn and Pauline. I can't believe you had that much snow Pauline. We have none thank god. But it's bloo*y freezing ouside. Linda, my daughter had asked me,if she could have some of the photo's of herself as a child,to make comparisons of herself,and her girls. Hence my searching through all my photo's,and finding the ones I have forwarded on. I hope you have a lovely weekend,and that it's not to cold there. Rita I have got everything crossed for you son in law's results. It will be a lovely christmas present for you all. I feel for your daughter though. Poor girl feeling unwell on your birthday is not good. Maddie have a nice rest tommorrow,in readiness for work on Sunday. Did you get my e.mail earlier. I did get yours by the way, but I am not sure if I read your addy properly. Thats the trouble when the eye sight starts to fail with age, or is it my mental faculties thats failing. Oh who said that, no not me surely. Stephen,are you snowed in yet. I have just been watching the news,and it said Scotland has got it bad in places. I hope you have got plenty of whisky in, to keep your spirits up. What's happened to our Shelly. She's very quiet today Shelllyyyy where are you.

	Marilyn Off to Bath and the Christmas markets with elderly friends by coach. Then on Sunday to the cotswolds not far and not long but a break................ should be lovely so long as the snow stays away. It'll give hubby a chance to see something as he usually has to drive and can't see much when he is concentrating on the road. Linda :o) XxX

	Oh Yes I remember you saying you were off to Bath and the Christmas Markets. Have a good time, just sit back and enjoy the ride, tell the driver to get some chains for the wheels !!

	Linda, it'll be relaxing for both of you ...........not having to worry about driving or parking. A nice little break. Mo, I thought you looked lovely on your wedding photo, you even had your feet placed perfectly, just like a model. And what a pretty little girl you were in your best coat and hat..........LOL I had noticed Shelly hadn't been on much but I think she's been busy. Wonder if she got any sugar for her cuppa.

	The death of Bernard Matthews was anounced on the news this morning. He was described as 'The biggest turkey manufacturer in the country'! Anyone care to correct the statement?

	Was BM also a Pheasant Plucker or was he just a Turkey Trotter? Snow , Snow, Quick, Quick, Snow. Then my wife and I might need to stay in our wee Love Nest for a few days Time alone, candles flickering, cuddled up on the couch, a box of chocolates, a wee glass of bubbly, slinky lingerie,..................................... and you all know whar comes next don't you........................... I come back to reality.....she hands me a paintbrush......or a saw and hammer with nails.......or perhaps a few spanners and some copper pipe........'Get Busy My Lad' .......I can just hear it.

	I have come on to thank everyone for their photos they are all lovely your wedding photo Mo was really nice. mine were terrible they were black and white and the church had scaffoldding up as they were being repaired due to war damage my god that makes me ancient so I hide them away. your have to excuse my typing I have just remembered to put my eye drops in and so the board is blurry.. Demot I lived near one of Bernard Matthews turkey farms in Norfolk and had a go at him, because of the way the poor turkeys were farmed they were all in a large shed and could not go anywhere.they were not even cleaned out. I reported another farmer as well driving up a back road we came across four cows standing in a fenced in box like shed with a tin roof and they were knee deep in sh..t so I went and reported him to the RSPCA. He soon cleaned the mess up. poor cows they looked so sad.they could not even move. Steve will not get his results till the end of December as they are going to do a special scan as well. it is one of only two in this country. his legs are still very weak but at least he can eat now.not much as he lost half him tummy. I think you are heading for more snow Stephen in your lovely Scotland. they showed the map of it on Tv and pointed out the districts it was going to come too, The gritter lorries were out but they were having a job as no sooner had they done one part than that was back to thick snow again. By the way Stephen I wish you a very happy birthday for tomorrow. dont worry to much your only be I year older than you were Friday. Lol Rita

	iv been baby sitting 3 of the grankids all evening thay have run rings round me and one bump his head and now his head is poping out but his ok and please please dont sent the snow my way im to cold as it is and i have the heating up full

Tea or Coffee Porridge, Cereals, Eggs, Grilled Bacon, Sausages, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Hash Browns, White Pudding, Black Pudding etc. All on the Hot Plate........help yourselves. A BIG birthday breakfast from a wee birthday boy. Many, many thanks for your kind greetings....really apprciated. That Sexy Woman from Marilyn brought back a load of memories..........like that three letter word......s*x......just a memory now......ROFL. Testosterone ! Is that one of those chocolate bars shaped like a triangle ? Family coming round for a Birthday dinner today..........if they get through . the snow. If they don't make it I'll have all your birthday cake to myself. Awoke to what I expected this morning.......deep snow.......Need to get the shovel and salt on the go early. Don't need the plough out just yet though. Thanks for the wee yacht Pauline........can't wait till the Spring when I can get it on the water..........heading for Tir-nan-Og. Right....Hey Ho.....off I go..........get the snow shifted before the early morning frost sets it rock hard. 	Morning everyone good for some not for others I expect ? unless they enjoy snow. "snow flakes falling all around ,but not for me Lol . we had a snow warning a little while ago.. I hope you all take extra care if you have snow, we dont want any broken bones on here do we ? we will ignore Marilyn she wont have that white stuff. she had yellow stuff. we could do with some of that in this country to help grit the roads. Stephen you should have sent her indoors out doors to clear you snow on your birthday . but we know you are the perfect gentleman .
